Three FT4 QSOs on RS-44 using OrbitDeck for iOS. Audio domain Doppler compensation is now working properly. It was shifting the wrong direction on TX during the last pass. Thanks @supercazzola for the drift report and QSO. Also worked W9SV and WA8EBM. QSOs automatically logged.

OrbitDeck for iOS now does Doppler compensation in the audio domain during FT4 slots, holding CAT updates until a slot is over. Reception was stable near 60 degrees. TX needs work.

Much better, but still not decoding above about 20 degrees of elevation. Needs more work to compensate for the Doppler shifting signals.

Thanks to KB8CR and KE8VSI for my first two satellite FT4 QSOs on RS-44 using OrbitDeck for iOS. A few bugs to work out, but the QSOs were made.

Exciting CardSat update. USB CAT is now supported in 0.9.58. No more level shifters or other circuitry required for CAT control, just a USB-C OTG dongle and a normal USB CAT cable (or direct connection to an IC-9700). github.com/prstoetzer/CardSa…

Just worked WO3T on JO-97. CardSat kept my IC-821 on frequency. I logged the QSO on device during the pass and uploaded it to @cloudloghq afterwards directly from the @M5Stack Cardputer ADV. github.com/prstoetzer/CardSa…

Successful test of CardSat controlling my IC-821 on RS-44. After calibration, it kept me on frequency even as the satellite rose over 80 degrees.
