๐ Meet the Party for Socialism & Liberation!
Weโre a multinational, multigenerational organization of working-class people fighting for socialist revolution here in the United States. We know that the only way to overcome the crises of war, climate catastrophe, and automation is to abolish capitalism and replace it with a system that prioritizes people and the planet.
โCommon senseโ according to the White House is giving billions to Israel and the Pentagon to wage an illegal war, while working-class Americans drown in medical debt and student loans.
REAL common sense says we need to end the wars and fund peopleโs needs instead of throwing money at war and genocide.

Microsoft is betting billions on AI โ and making workers pay the price. As the company offers "voluntary" buyouts to 60,000 employees, its bosses continue pouring money into AI infrastructure. This isnโt a company struggling to survive. Itโs a company making veiled threats and prioritizing profits over the people who make those profits possible.
AI has the potential to make our lives better, eliminate tedious labor and free up time for working people. But under capitalism, technological advances are used to enrich the bosses, while workers face layoffs, increased workloads and insecurity.
The problem isnโt AI. Itโs who controls it. We need an economy where technology serves the needs of the people, not the profits of billionaires.

If there is no blockade on Cuba, then why is the U.S. seizing oil tankers on their way to the island? This is what real journalism looks like โ calling the Trump administration on their BS to their face.
Cuba is not a threat! End the blockade! ๐จ๐บ
BREAKING: BTโs Zoe Alexandra (@ZoeAlexandra_ok) confronted US Ambassador Mike Waltz at the United Nations headquarters on Wednesday, calling out his lie that โthere is no blockadeโ on Cuba โ and that the blocking of oil shipments is directly responsible for an escalating humanitarian crisis.
While Waltz retorted that the US allowed the arrival of a Russian oil tanker to Cuba, Alexandra immediately countered that the March fuel delivery was only able to supply a small fraction of the countryโs energy needs.
The ambassador then became visibly frustrated and quickly turned to take another reporterโs question.
The encounter followed the UN General Assembly annual vote to end the US blockade on the island nation.
For more than a month, French students have been in the streets, demanding the state take major action in response to abysmal conditions of the school system โโ and have pledged to continue, even as the Macron government desperately offers concessions.

The World Stands with Cuba!
Today at the UN, 130 countries voted to lift the U.S. blockade against Cuba. Since 1992, the vast majority of the planetโexcept the U.S., Israel, and the states they coerceโhas voted in favor of the motion, year after year, rejecting the daily impositions by the U.S. that prevent the Cuban people from meeting their basic needs.

Each year at the UN General Assembly, countries vote overwhelmingly for a resolution condemning the U.S. blockade on Cuba. This year, the vote was 130 in favor, 17 opposed, and 25 abstained.
Yesterday, Cubans stood up to Mike Waltz as he told lies in about our Caribbean neighbors. Today, the world stood up for Cuba!

Justice for Koran Irvine!
Tonight, we rallied alongside UWUA Local 1-2, organizers, community members, and the Irvine family to honor the life of Koran Irvine. Koran was a Black union worker and a father of two who was gunned down by Victor Romero, a retired NYPD detective, in an act of senseless and vicious violence.
Police violence and the war on Black life must end now. The whole system is guilty, and we must fight back to defend our people! Now is the time to organize for a future where Black people can grow old in dignity, free from the threat of racist violence, and where current and former police officers can no longer kill with impunity. A future where we, not billionaires, hold the power to decide what our lives are worth.
