Rex is one happy guy. His tail is always wagging, and with a face like his, we really thought he’d be scooped up by now. This handsome Chocolate Lab would love to find a home where he can be the only dog and get spoiled with all your love. We’d love to see Rex finally get his turn. Come meet him today. - 🏠 The Pennsylvania SPCA 📍 350 E Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19134 ⭐️ Kennel #3079

Sweet Tillie girl. Oh how we love you. After living life in a home for 11 years, this super senior found herself back at the shelter. No doubt she was confused, scared and feeling alone. But the dedication of the @pspca is lifelong. We’ve got you. More: xitter.cf/PSPCA/status/211105545…
The call came from the city's open intake shelter: a 16-year-old dog had been surrendered for owner-requested euthanasia. When the dog was scanned for a chip, it came back to us. Her name was Matilda.

Matilda has already given one family 11 years. Now we’re looking for someone who will give her the same promise…but this time forever. This $5 Friday, will you help us care for Matilda while she waits for her forever family?

Yes, Grandmom is real. And yes, we are absolutely OBSESSED with her. This sweet Persian was rescued by our Animal Law Enforcement team and spent some time in our shelter hospital. Now, she’s ready to find a forever home of her own! She’s every bit as sweet as she is cute (in her own, crusty kind of way), and we already know what you’re going to ask. Yes, her little tongue really does stick out like that all the time. Grandmom is a senior lady with some senior medical needs, so she’ll need a family ready to stay on top of her care and keep in touch with their veterinarian. In return for that extra TLC, we have a feeling she’ll give her people so much love. Not in a place to adopt a cat right now? You can still support our lifesaving work AND bring home something pretty special! We’re raffling off the highly sought-after Taylor Swift Cardigan Plush Cat, still in its original box and unopened. 💜 Every entry supports our lifesaving work, and the winner gets a very cute collectible: pspca.org/ts-plush-cat/ Help us find Grandmom her forever home, and enter the raffle while you’re at it!

This could be you… if you adopt Tank! You might remember him from earlier this year, when he came to us through our Animal Law Enforcement team emaciated and in rough shape. Fast forward to today and this boy is thriving in an amazing foster home! Tank is considered special needs and is looking for a truly special family to call his own. He has visual and hearing impairments, along with significant orthopedic disease affecting his legs. He’ll need ongoing, lifelong veterinary care and a family committed to keeping him happy, comfortable, and living his very best life. But he’s still a young, playful Great Dane with plenty of love to give! Tank is open to meeting other dogs and kids who don’t mind a big, bouncy buddy. Could Tank be your guy? Email [email protected] to learn more and set up a meet-and-greet with him! - 🏠 The Pennsylvania SPCA 📍 350 E Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19134 ⭐️ Kennel #3079

Hunter is still waiting. He’s been waiting for over three years. When he first came to us, he was emaciated and barely holding on. He had so much to overcome, but look at him today. He’s a different dog. He loves going for walks, playing with his favorite toy, and spending time with his people. He has a life and a personality beyond the dog who first walked through our doors. And after all this time, he’s still waiting for someone to choose him. Hunter would prefer to be the only pet in the home, but that just means all of his love, all of his loyalty, and all of those happy moments can be yours. Three years is a long time to wait for a family. Hunter has done his waiting. To help him find his home, his adoption fee is waived. Please, help us make his next chapter the one he’s been waiting for. - 🏠 The Pennsylvania SPCA 📍 350 E Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19134 ⭐️ Kennel #3079
