MINING HAS A GENDERED COST.
WHO PAYS IT?
Zimbabwe’s critical minerals may power the green transition but mining-affected communities are paying the price through polluted water, lost livelihoods, displacement and environmental degradation.

They also took a moment to express solidarity with the vendors, who are facing government attacks simply for earning an honest livelihood through genuine hard work. Well done, comrades.
The struggle continues unabated!

When opposition leaders and activists are incarcerated and transported from Chikurubi to the courts, they are paraded in chains like tomatoes at Mbare Musika during every appearance. How is it that Comrade Gertrude Badza is so heavily protected that the public cannot find even a single picture of her? Tetichikuonai!!

In this crisis some people thrive, if democracy works in Zim some will not be in positions of authority and influence which they hold. They are milking our suffering while pretending to fight 4 a better Zimbabwe. leaders are not supposed to be our friends, they must just deliver

The current "President of Zimbabwe " is surrounded by criminals, the same criminals who justified the coup that wasn't a coup
Is the "president" senile or compos mentis?
Our future, and generations beyond us, may be in the hands of a man not of sound mind...

This recent by-election result illustrates why it is inappropriate for MPs to elect the President when they've been elected via the First Past the Post system (i.e. highest votes wins even if less that 50% of the vote).
In this by-election, the ZANU PF candidate won with only 45% of the vote, while 55% of voters rejected ZANU PF, voting for various different independents.
Now, imagine this was for an MP seat. That MP (whose party was REJECTED by the MAJORITY of constituents) goes to Parliament to vote for the President on behalf of EVERYONE in their constituency, including the 55% of people who rejected their party!
Make it make sense. #NoToCAB3 #OneManOneVote

The bill should be cited as “ The License to Extort bill!” #WeThePeople reject the bill which is motivated by all the wrong reasons. Extorting from the poor and harassing the vulnerable are the key drivers. It is an unnecessary cost burden for struggling local authorities.

Dear @PoliceZimbabwe is this guy bigger than the entire institution. Am just concerned since he was recently seen scott-free at a ZANU gathering. Its now almost 4 months since the case has been reported by @DougColtart at Harare Central Police Station on 1 April 2026 under IR No. 040038IR.
Your Response to this might help.
Thank you
