The Darline Graham problem isn't @DarlineGrahamSC. For *decades* the GOP had people propping up Lindsey Graham, who was an extraordinary politician but often didn't align with their values, by shoveling tons of money into his campaigns, while they watched candidates who aligned much better with their values get buried under attack ads or boxed out. When he died, his sister was announced as the replacement, which could've been a nice temporary gesture - but it turned into an edict. The perception, and the frustration a lot of people have, is that GOP elites (think Susie Wiles and co) took advantage of a very short runoff window to flood the market with cash and ads and put her in there before voters had a real chance to weigh in. In the process they disregarded what the people wanted and trashed other good Republicans who have spent their own decades fighting for actual populist and conservative principles. South Carolina has never taken kindly to being pushed around and it showed at Trump's Clemson rally. Darline isn't a particularly polished candidate, and she's admitted she doesn't really know a lot about what's going on right now. In some ways, I view her as a victim of the same system that Norman supporters and conservatives in SC are frustrated with. Instead of embracing those voters, her campaign has painted them as "disloyal," when in reality they're just people who want a voice they feel they haven't had for decades now and are tired of being told who to vote for by GOP consultants in Columbia and Washington, DC. It's easy to understand why they feel that way, and no amount of trashing them as disloyal is going to convince them they have to go vote Graham one more time. Voters don't want to opt into a rigged system that keeps screwing them over while their state falls apart, only to wind up with another representative who thinks more like DC than South Carolina. The overemphasis that it must be Darline Graham and no one else or it's their fault is in fact the problem.
I’m not endorsing the write-in movement or Annie Andrews. But if a fraction of conservative voters are refusing to support Darline Graham, she needs to look in the mirror. You don’t get to run a bad campaign and then blame Ralph Norman and his family for the consequences.

I love how Ilhan Omar married her brother, Elissa Slotkin is calling for the imprisonment of Trump admin officials, and Deep State bureaucrats are planning a coup, and all the Democrats can respond with is “Lindsey Graham was gay.”

Unpopular opinion. I don’t even want Ilhan Omar in prison. I just want her funds confiscated and her denaturalized and deported. Never to be allowed to set foot on American soil again. Is that too much to ask for?

OK, North Carolina, if you are remotely considering a vote for Cooper for Senate… here is why Whatley is the ONLY choice! 1. While governor, Cooper vetoed 104 bills – nearly three times the combined totals of all previous governors. He cannot work across the aisle. 2. Cooper consistently aligned with the Biden administration on immigration and refused to work for a stronger border. 3. Cooper did not join other governors in publicly condemning Biden’s handling of the border. 4. In 2019, Cooper vetoed a “born-alive” abortion bill that would have required medical care for infants born alive after a failed abortion procedure. 5. The NC legislature passed a bill known as the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act (2023) requiring school and college sports teams to be designated by biological sex at birth. Cooper vetoed the bill. 6. In 2023, Cooper vetoed a package of bills related to transgender youth, including restrictions on gender-affirming care and sports participation. 7. Cooper has consistently opposed voter ID (photo identification) requirements for voting in North Carolina, 8. On Tuesday, Feb 24, 2021 Cooper vetoed a bill giving parents the ability to opt out of school mask mandates. 9. In 2021 Cooper, as governor, allowed early release of 3500 prisoners. Nearly half of them reoffended. 10. Former Governor Roy Cooper tries to present himself but his lack of criticism indicates he would not offer opposition to the extreme left wing part of his party. 11. If Cooper is elected to the U. S. Senate it is almost certain that he will vote for Chuck Schumer to head the Senate. 12. In Sept 2024 Cooper vetoed a bill that would have expanded funding for private school voucher programs. 13. Teacher Zoe Welsh was brutally murdered in her home. The accused murderer had twenty previous arrests but had been released to the public by a Cooper appointed judge. Cooper is consistently soft on crime. VOTE FOR WHATLEY!

The choice to sin will always take you farther than you meant to go. Jane Doe got more than she bargained for. She feels violated, wrecked, and discarded because she was. That is where her sin took her. The Cornell 7 got more than they bargained for too. They are being accused of doing something wicked because they did, however mislabeled. That is where their sin took them. That is the nature of sin. Where its scope and its destruction stop is not up to you once you consent to it.

It’s crazy that one woman with a podcast single handedly derailed the largest revival of my lifetime. People were talking about reading their bibles for the first time, going back to church, & Jesus was glorified. Then everyone started talking about Candace instead.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, Roselle, a calm, golden‑furred guide dog, rode the elevator up to the 78th floor of the North Tower with her owner, Michael Hingson. To everyone else, it was just another Tuesday. To Roselle, it was a job: stay close, stay steady, keep her human safe. When the first plane hit, the entire building lurched like a ship struck by a wave. Lights flickered. Ceilings cracked. Papers rained down like snow. People screamed. But Roselle didn’t. She simply pressed her body against Michael’s leg, a silent message: I’m here. Follow me. Smoke began to fill the hallway. The air tasted like burning metal. Sirens wailed from every direction. Yet Roselle walked forward with the same steady pace she used every day, guiding Michael to the stairwell. Behind them, dozens of terrified people followed her tail like a beacon. Step by step, floor by floor, she led them downward through the choking darkness. The stairwell shook. The heat intensified. But Roselle never sped up, never panicked, never once broke her rhythm. She knew that if she stayed calm, her human would too. Somewhere around the 30th floor, a woman froze, sobbing, unable to move. Roselle stopped. She nudged the woman gently, leaning her warm body against her leg until her breathing slowed. Only when the woman whispered, “Okay… okay,” did Roselle continue the descent. It took nearly an hour to reach the lobby. Firefighters shouted for everyone to run. The tower groaned above them. Roselle guided Michael through the chaos, out into the blinding sunlight, and down the street, refusing to stop until she sensed they were finally safe. Minutes later, the North Tower collapsed. Roselle didn’t know she had just saved her owner’s life. She didn’t know she had led more than a dozen people to safety. She didn’t know she had become a symbol of courage around the world. She only knew one thing: her human was alive, and she had done her job. Most people know Roselle guided her blind owner down 78 floors of the North Tower, but very few know what happened after they escaped. As the tower collapsed behind them, a massive cloud of ash and debris roared through the streets like a tidal wave. Michael couldn’t see it coming, but Roselle could. Instead of panicking, she leaned her entire body into him and pulled forward with absolute determination, guiding him through a darkness so thick he couldn’t breathe or hear. Even as the ground shook and people screamed around them, Roselle never once broke her pace. Her training didn’t tell her what to do, her loyalty did. #archaeohistories

It is a perfectly reasonable standard for a society to set that if you murder a child, your life is over. If you wanna let an insanity plea spare them from the death penalty? Fine. But they must die in prison. It’s not about punishment. It’s just protection. If you could snap and kill a kid, you simply can’t be trusted around people anymore. No matter what triggered it. This is in no way controversial. It’s not like these baby killers are out curing cancer or something. They can rot in jail and ask God for mercy. We have become way too tolerant of criminality and way too compassionate towards the dregs of society. We have to stop wasting our compassion on baby killers and drug zombies. We have fire victims in Altadena and the Palisades and Spokane and Paradise (still) who are completely screwed and we are using up all our energy and empathy on the worst people in society. Snap out of it, folks.

Most polling in every swing state and swing race is showing margin of error either way. It’s really simple— all efforts must be directed at Turnout. Whichever party turns out more of their base is likely to win it all and consequentially a full generation of elections.

Today, I endorsed @RalphNorman for U.S. Senate. South Carolina deserves a tried-and-true conservative who's proven he will fight for the people who put him there. South Carolina, I love this state with everything I have. I'm all in. And I'm asking you to join me in supporting Ralph Norman.

It tracks that the group of people who thought they should be treated as VIPs (and use Uber to feel like they have a chauffeur, TaskRabbit and GrubHub and Instacart to feel like they have an assistant), don’t want to come into the office, demand compensation from perceived slights at work, want to work from home, want to work less than five days a week, want everyone to walk on eggshells around them because of all their “invisible disabilities,” have their parents subsidize their life, etc, would want socialism. The final step in their line of shrugging off responsibility. I have yet to see someone who has worked hard for a living, regardless of income, advocating for socialism.
