Writing a review paper is a ton of work and I am glad my PhD students were willing to take that on. Mina, Maryam and their co-authors produced an excellent overview over perovskite based triple junction solar cells which you can find here:
Building on perovskite based tandems some researchers are now exploring perovskite based triple junction solar cells. Our PhD students Mina and Maryam Heydarian gathered a great team of co-authors to summarise the current state of the art. Check it out!

The kickstarter has closed, but TIPA techhas found a new way to collect money with false physics claims. They are now on @Indiegogo making impossible claims and collecting more money. indiegogo.com/projects/tipa-…

I love to play "renewable energy spotting" while on trains. This weekend I spotted a new solar field that was just being installed very close to my destination. So I went and checked it out. The mounting system was already installed, the solar modules still in crates.
Since I research novel solar cell materials I rarely interact with the large scale deployment of current solar technologies. Fascinating to see how this works. I for example didn't know the crates for the solar modules are stackable.
