Did you know that if Bill 96 passes (and it looks like it will), BY LAW I won’t be allowed to speak to English-speaking patients in English anymore or Italian-speaking patients in Italian for that matter. BY LAW. For real.
Are people even aware that this is happening in Quebec?
ALT Screenshot from the National Post article on Bill 96, section that discusses the bill making it illegal to address patients in any language other than French. Full article in next tweet.

Got a patient with 5 negative rapid tests in just as many days, worsening sob, ended up in ER, of course... positive. One of the many similar stories. In layman terms the false reassurance of a negative rapid test is making it inadequate as a screening test. "But my rapid test.."

At these schools, cases went up at least 2.5x from the week prior, with only 4 days reported.
Why?
Maybe because masks are now optional, or BA.2 or both.
We don't know.
What should be done?
@NYCSchools needs to set a threshold for re-mandating masks.

So, most VT students wouldn't need vouchers.
If they could get in, they'd go to Exeter for free.
So, these vouchers are subsidies to wealthier families who opted out on #vted.
Meanwhile, many VT public schools struggle to afford basics.
