When I moved here in 2013 the west village was for 90 year olds, celebrities, and fifth generation New Yorkers. It was super quiet and was the perfect place to get totally blazed and walk around alone feeling like you were in some gas lamp lit 1800s spooky New York. I’ll never forgive people for making it influencer line culture hell.
Every single undocumented worker I work with is not paid nearly enough. This underclass of workers exists to serve upper middle class and outright bourgeois Americans and yet the people they serve still hate them and wish for them to leave this country. Make it make sense!
