Why fading? Looking #btc at the bigger picture. Understand its long-term trajectory despite short-term shakeout.
I started thinking about institutional finance onchain differently
Transparency is great
But would an institution really want every position and strategy visible to everyone?
That’s where @primus_labs caught my attention.
Privacy doesn’t mean leaving the chain.
It can mean choosing what actually needs to be visible.
That feels important for institutional adoption.

My all 3 top posts are for @moonpay during @PayBox launch.. should i consider myself as a unpaid paybox creator😂
Btw how's my account perform? W or L?
I almost misunderstood one detail about @zerufinance's zETH 👀
zETH isn't actually the token
it's an activity market built around Ethereum
each season brings a new zToken, with the community choosing its name
so this isn't just another one-off token launch
it's an attempt to build a recurring market around real onchain activity
interesting idea, but I'm curious about one thing
can it keep users engaged beyond the first season's hype?

Another quarter that's not good for every crypto bro when seeing bags bleeding, leverage staying low, but exchanges found a new casino table and it's growing stupid fast.
The numbers in this third straight red quarter:
– total crypto market cap lost another 12.6%
– stablecoin supply fell 1.6% to $305.1B
– spot CEX volume -27.9% to $1.95T
– perps only -10% to $12.7T
– OI stayed pinned near cycle lows the whole quarter even when BTC ripped to $80K
I read this as users weren't entirely leaving the casino, they were just slowly scaling down size in defense mode, while still trading short term with leverage.
Less leverage overall, but the leverage that remained got more selective.
– TradFi perps did 52B to 268B from Jan to June
– equity perps alone did 45B to 141B in one month
– on peak days these products were already more than 15% of exchange derivatives activity
This is crypto liquidity fleeing into a Wall Street costume. BTC stopped giving people anything to trade (-14.2% while NASDAQ ripped +19.8%).
A meaningful piece of that flow is probably crypto-native traders moving their gambling energy into $NVDA, $TSLA, $MU, $gold…
The gambling energy needed a new host, and exchanges built one just in time. This also explains why exchanges all shipped the same product almost simultaneously.
TradFi perps are a retention layer during a bear market to keeping users, margin balances, and trading fees inside the platform even when BTC and ETH go dead.
– @binance passed $380B in Q2 TradFi-perp volume, captured 60% market share
– @bitget, @okx and @MEXC were basically tied around 11% each and ~$69B of volume
– @HyperliquidX OI in TradFi assets went from 3.8% to 21.0% of its total OI in 6 months
Two totally separate monopolies forming here with Binance winning the CEX side through distribution, Hyperliquid running the DEX side through @tradexyz.
Bridges overtook lending as the single largest TVL category for the first time ever, almost entirely because of inflows into the Hyperliquid bridge feeding RWA perp trading.
Capital isn't sitting in RWA protocols holding real assets, it's just passing through bridges into perp venues for leveraged synthetic exposure.
The 23% weekend-to-weekday volume ratio is an important number too.
I think it's bullish for the real users thesis, bearish for the 24/7 crypto edge thesis. The new product is pulling in genuinely different behavior, not just old habits on new rails.
New things always look good at first. let's see one more quarter without SPCX catalyst, and we'll actually know if this sticks or if it was just June's flavor.

Top 5 exchanges by total assets:
🏆 Binance: $135.7B
OKX: $17.1B
Bybit : $11.3B
Bitget: $5.8B
Gate: $5.3B
There's no second best.

Bitcoin has slipped toward $62.6K as the Coldcard exploit enters its fifth day but the market reaction remains surprisingly restrained considering the reported $114 million loss.
The incident is not a failure of the Bitcoin network itself, yet it strikes at something equally important: confidence in self-custody. Some holders are now moving funds back to exchanges, showing that security depends not only on where private keys are stored but also on how reliably they were generated.
Derivatives markets are sending mixed signals. Shorts account for more than 52% of taker volume and sellers remain aggressive while BTC open interest has reached a one-month high and funding is still moderately positive. Meanwhile implied volatility remains near 37% suggesting concern without outright panic.
The limited price reaction may demonstrate resilience but rising leverage alongside weakening sentiment can create sharper moves later. Bitcoin has absorbed the initial shock, the next test is whether confidence stabilizes before positioning becomes too crowded.
Informational only.

This is the only time I will say anything about the COLDCARD incident because I’ve said it many times before what the solution is.
Any of your cold wallets are just ONE passphrase away.
The only way to truly protect yourself is with multi sig wallets. Everything else is just leaving your funds and savings on a silver platter.
One passphrase means:
One click, one wrong site, one connect, one random lucky guess, one single point of failure. And everything you’ve worked for is gone forever.
Multi sig fixes that, on all fronts.
You need to sign like in a trust with multiple wallets that don’t have to be funded before a transaction goes out.
Yes, it’s harder to set up, harder to keep all your devices in different places with different passwords and testing before sending big funds to it, but in cases like COLDCARD you are completely safe.
I use a 5 device set up with 3 signatures required. All with different devices like ledger trezor and some other cold wallets I’ve been sent to test or just bought myself.
One device gets hacked or lost or whatever, it doesn’t have access to your funds, it can’t do anything, you can just replace it by a 4/1 vote and go on unharmed. Even if a malicious employee gets some edge or access to one or more of your devices he still doesn’t have enough to take your funds nor does he know where to look for it, because the wallet signature wallet you have shows $0 as signatures don’t cost anything.
Now of course you can’t do that for your hot wallet MetaMask that you use to ape memes into, but you can do it for funds you lock away in a distant vault anyway.
Don’t be lazy, don’t trust any of the big hot wallet providers, create your own and distance yourself from any malicious actors who are trying to steal your funds.
I lost 6.42 BTC overnight.
A little over $400,000 at today’s price.
I noticed it early this morning when I opened Wasabi and the balance immediately looked wrong.
Then I saw the outgoing transactions.
None of them were mine.
What makes this so hard to understand is that this wasn’t Bitcoin sitting on an exchange or in some hot wallet.
My keys were on a Coldcard that had never been connected to the internet and was physically locked away in a safety deposit box.
That was literally the whole reason I used that setup.
No seed in the cloud.
No photo on my phone.
No password manager backup.
No browser wallet.
The BTC had been sitting there untouched for a long time.
Then overnight, several transactions went out within minutes and the wallet was basically emptied.
I spent the next few hours checking addresses, old devices and everything else I could think of, trying to find some obvious mistake on my end.
So far, nothing.
That’s the part that bothers me more than the number itself.
If I’d signed something stupid or fallen for phishing, at least I’d know exactly where I screwed up.
Instead I’m looking at a cold-storage wallet I deliberately made difficult to access, and somehow the coins still moved.
I’m documenting the transactions now and tracing where the BTC went.
Do I expect to get $400k back?
Probably not.
It’s a disgusting amount of money to lose overnight, but I’m not going to spend the next six months staring at a blockchain explorer feeling sorry for myself.
I made the money once.
I’ll make it again.

Genuine Question:
Which social media platform do you think has the most toxic vibe right now, and why?
The memecoin nobody took it seriously was $PEPE
Probably the biggest one from history
Always have faith and bid where your mouth is, nobody can take your conviction.. even if it’s wrong
Take a look at the monthly chart of $PEPE
It only got there w people believing in it…
A memecoin nobody took seriously went from a $0 valuation to a $1.6 billion market cap in just 19 days after launch
Then the hype cooled off… price settled somewhere between $300m and $400m and just stayed there for what felt like forever
Most people wrote it off. Called it dead. Moved on.
Then out of nowhere it ripped straight to $13 billion
The craziest part? none of this happened during a bull run peak or some euphoric market top
It all unfolded throughout 2023, Bitcoin was still trading around $30,000, the halving was still a full year away, and the broader market was basically asleep
If that kind of move happened in those conditions… imagine what’s possible when liquidity actually comes back

While crypto got loud, speculative and institutional, TEXITcoin stayed true to what this was all supposed to be. Honest money.

yield competitions are shifting from short-term spikes to long-term consistency
@alturax yieldrun reflects that shift
56% of top wallets are driven by daily activity, not one-off moves
→ sustained participation = compounding edge
→ consistent onchain engagement matters more than timing
with 17 days left and $75k still in play, positioning is still open
in this model, consistency wins over bursts

Guys, another big opportunity just landed at your door.
First of all, big shoutout to @MEXC on their 8-year anniversary, one of the top crypto exchanges out there, and the only top cex offering zero trading fees on BTC and ETH Spots.
Reaching this level isn’t luck, it’s years of building and honestly, it still feels like the beginning, especially when the team has plans to invest heavily over the next 3–5 years.
Now, about that big opportunity:
As part of the celebration, MEXC just launched a team trading competition with up to $10M USDT in rewards. Yeah… $10M, that’s insane omg.
Here is how the competition works:
- Create a team or join solo (team leaders benefit from group performance)
- The prize pool grows as more users participate (up to $10M, actually we are in ~$3M)
- You have extra perks like early rewards and daily incentives too
This is one of those moments where starting early actually matters.
Better positioning → better rewards.

I’ve said it many times… @binance is more than just a crypto exchange
aside from crypto, you can now also trade:
🔶 oil (futures)
🔶 gold (futures)
🔶 metals (futures)
🔶 tokenized equities (alpha)
Binance has always been #1 crypto CEX by far… but they’re not stopping there
if you want to stay at the top, you need to adapt… and tbh commodities are leading in 2026
oil is up big this year, one of the fastest moves in a long time. gold & silver had their run & volatility is high
before, this meant different platforms, accounts, limited hours…
Now: all in one place, 24/7
