Life Update: My stint with @thecaptableco ends today. I'm taking a break from full-time journalism for now, but you may see my bylines on platforms once in a while. I'm also exploring new avenues to tell stories and doing multiple things, but with a bit of predictability

ECI found the needle in a haystack! just 1,600 foreigners on voter lists in six states. Well done, all! Great story by @himansshhi

Deliberate manipulation of images cannot be justified as an inadvertent error. Your idea of media content has been perverse. This is only the latest instance of your stooping to conquer
There are houses were women even sick, pregnant and breastfeeding women, make as much as 80 chapatis and still come back to the dining hall to see empty casseroles. They go to sleep on an empty stomach
The strongest argument I’ve ever heard in defence of patriarchy is the hot chapati. Someone has to keep making them while everyone else eats, and that someone is rarely the man demanding another.
But what happens when you draw a line between rice-eating and roti-eating India? The Census, economists and several decades of research start telling a rather curious story.
Introducing Rotinomics: where a humble flatbread finds itself accused of being an accessory to patriarchy.

If Dua Padukone Singh & Devi Padukone Singh study in Delhi Public School, will they say DPS and DPS are studying in DPS?
Reminds me of a story that @PratapVikramSin and I wrote last year 🙊

I really hope parents have an eye on what happens in Churches to their boys.
As showcased in the Oscar Winning film Spotlight, which was a true story of the Boston Globe’s Expose of pedophilia in Church (the rolling titles had a list of pastors from Churches in India as well)
The Churches protect these men as was seen with Franco Mulakkal.
Men of religion, hold power over families in a way they use it to sexually assault women and children.
This power system needs to be dismantled.
Super jealous of my neighbour's kid. After the long weekend, she was all set to go to school today and the rain shows up in all its glory.

This guy in the pictures is a horrible actor and can't even act, but he still got a role in the film just because his younger brother, Joel Davis, is the director of the film. These cases of nepotism are actually ruining the film industry. People who are genuinely good actors aren't getting acting roles, while horrible actors like the guy in the picture are getting projects. What a shame!
This guy also produced the film. Just because you have money doesn't automatically make you an actor. What a horrible day for cinema! Shame on you!

So, here it goes. The first story in the Pups series, that teaches Malayalam to children in English. Proud to release it today, ahead of the Vidyarambham

I hate to report it to you but children born in 2008 have shamelessly started attending college without any consideration of how old it makes their professors feel. 😒

NEVER EVER DO CAKE CUTTING BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS OF YOUR KIDS IN ORPHANAGES.
It’s like showing off your dancing skills in front of crippled people.
Go and donate money, food and new clothes without any celebrations.
These chairs made my euphoric as a child, they make me content as an adult. In Kochi, you don't need a lounge and your lack of privilege doesn't cost you a bad back (owing to those metal chairs)
Oh, also, these are quite clean. The best 🫶
