I don’t know yet whether this will become a larger system yet, even though I have built a working experiment because I believe this relationship between local memory and malleability based on human judgement is worth testing. The connection between Nook system design and this local memory app for curriculum building is very similar and I think I am more curious than ever with so many questions. Would love a conversation and a feedback if you are into system design/architecture. More here:

My laptop has gotten wonky. Before Mac i used to make them wonky in max 2 yrs, so i am wondering with codex and building spree i have done something in here.
Study Goethe. Education is not cramming the facts. It’s more than that. Critical thinking from math, math is not facts but beyond it. Once you cross the basic state of math fact and drill you go to critical thinking to solve math problems.
Literature and language arts comes in the same category.
Appreciating the beauty is the foremost part.
It starts with wonder and imagination.
Sometime I get fascinated by how people think they know everything and put it in twitter. No curiosity just “I know everything vibes”.
Specially people who are not building and has a lot to say.
Please don’t make education fall into these traps. Without knowing it you are blabbering.

The goal of education is NOT to make every student retrace thousands of years of dead ends that took geniuses to overcome.
The goal of education is to help students inherit genius-level insights in a way that does not depend on the students themselves being geniuses.
Algebra is cool. I saw a tweet on parent twitter that it is complex. I think it’s the easiest thing once you are “conscious” of the formulas. I am telling conscious because it’s more than memorizing facts.
And it’s a fun process to learn it.
Always the champion in algebra until high school and took advanced math in high school too. And yes trigonometry also becomes easier once you are aware of algebra.
Yes I didnot get to use them in my work which made me very sad. However I enjoy it.
I failed and made myself relearn. Then taught my brother and he became a distinction holder. It’s tricks and techniques.
And there are lots of very good resources.
I prefer depth over horizontal learning. So that is there.
First: Memorize facts like a maniac and build games with it.
