Please watch the video before commenting or trying to give your opinion or calling me names, I talk about more than just the ban and I explain with more detail While I was at Megaplex this year I received a letter banning me from attending my local convention (ANE). This was not a ruling past down due to conduct at the convention or convention center but instead an action taken against me based on their judgement of my posts online. I understand the criticisms levied against me and my past by the board however it would be unfair to claim that I have not changed at all from the person I was 2 years ago. I am not a danger to this event and in the 4 years I have attended this event I haven’t caused any trouble. I do not want to spread a narrative online however this seems like an attack on me or some kind of power trip by someone on the board that doesn’t like me. I do understand that the picture I posted had bad connotations and was offensive however I do not understand why that would get me banned from an event entirely. If they wanted to ban people for being insensitive and harmful outside of the convention there are plenty of other people that have and still do say way worse things than I ever have, even publicly. In a situation like this all I can hope for is for one of the board members to change their mind and let me come back to the event. If any staff members want to talk to me my DMs are always open sorry for the yapp session and see you at furpoc tomorrow.
