Shigeru Miyamoto absent from Nintendo's investor Q&A due to a "sudden health issue," but is in stable condition gonintendo.com/contents/6700…
Eiji Aonuma, a lead developer on the Zelda series since 1998, believes Nintendo not doing mass layoffs is a key part of their success.
He says keeping very long-term employees who can teach junior devs has "a real benefit" and helps Nintendo make truly great games.

Almost overnight, piracy has gone from 'we're making this unsupported triple A title available at low prices to counteract corporate greed' to 'I just wanna steal shit'. It's not about simping for a company, it's seeing how untenable this will be for an already fragile industry.
GREEN HAT KID NOW RUNNING NATIVELY ON PC WITH HIGH FPS AND ULTRAWIDE SUPPORT 🚨
A new showcase just dropped for the native port, and it’s coming along fast. Ultrawide and higher framerates now work, VRAM and memory usage are way down, and shaders and effects render almost perfectly.
The dev says it’s officially dropping on their GitHub today.

Do we even acknowledge how devastating is gonna be the day he actually passes away?
Like, do you have ANY ideas of how MUCH the gaming industry owes to this man?

The gaming media being so horny for this movement to fail is exactly why PlayStation and their fanbase is in the situation it's in now. This isn't a good thing

One evening in Fall 1998,
My Dad came home from work saying he had a surprise for my sister and I.
Little did we know the journey we were about to embark on.
And even though he’s gone,
Being able to experience this game in a new way feels like he’s still here
Thank you Dad ❤️🕊️

There’s another option people dismiss in these conversations: you can just not play the game.
It is not a right for you to have access too it. This is optional entertainment.
I’m a PC gamer too. I don’t pirate. Can’t play a game I don’t own because I don’t have the platform? I shrug my shoulders and move on to the hundreds of other games I have.
But no, a great exclusive launches and the excuses come out to pirate it.
Literally you don’t have to play it. Your life will be the same.
Voy a decir algo que a muchos no les va a gustar: prefiero piratear Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake antes que comprar una Nintendo Switch 2 exclusivamente para jugarlo.

To every Commander honoring #N7Day today: we're right there with you.
A few of us were lucky enough to work on Mass Effect as part of the incredible team at BioWare. Even more of us were simply fans who grew up playing it, just like you, saw what games could be, and got into this industry thinking, "Had to be me."
Either way, it shaped us. It lives on in every story it inspired, and most of all in you, the fans who never stop showing up for it. The galaxy is a better place with more great sci-fi stories in it, and Mass Effect will always be one of the best.
Thank you for all the amazing memories, BioWare.
