My Dad was the first alum who was Mayor in FAMU’s history.
Keisha would be FIRST Black Woman in U.S. History to be Gov, a Florida A&M University alum!

Exactly. If people don't think that that is an issue that mobilized a lot of people, they have another thing coming.
Even Brian Kemp, with some of the political savvy that he's shown in his 8 years in the state of Georgia, decided not to pursue that redistricting fight (because he knew that that was going to be what mobilized Black voters like crazy, and Keisha would have gotten her bag if they push through the redistricting the way they want it to)
Because that would have given Jon Ossoff, Raphael Warnock, and Keisha Lance Bottoms reason to get active, and they didn't want that to really pop off and reach that civil rights fault line that you touch. It just goes all to hell for Republicans when it comes to Black voter turnout. But little did they know, even that attempt to threaten redistricting and all the different stuff like that really caused a lot of Black folks to get engaged and mobilize. We'll see what happens next Tuesday

Where did the media get this idea that the loser of a Democratic primary should campaign with the winner for a Senate race?
The only expectation should be that the losing candidate doesn’t harm the nominee by running their mouth. But it seems even that’s been difficult 🙄
NEW from me: With under a week to go in what many polls are showing as a still tight Senate race, Abdul El-Sayed hasn’t called his former primary opponent Haley Stevens in months — and there are no plans for them to campaign together before election day.

The argument that Harris is acquiescing to the demands of leftists and that it's somehow a bad thing that she's campaigning for people like AES and Nixon is short-sighted.
Kamala Harris has been a progressive for her entire career. She was the second-most liberal Democratic senator to serve in the Senate in the 21st century based on her roll call voting record. In 2019, GovTrack ranked her as the “most liberal compared to All Senators.”
None of this is new for her. She is not compromising anything — not her values, not her policy positions, not her morals, not her principles.
This is who she is. She hasn't ever been moderate. And she is a leader who wants to help the Democratic Party be as strong as possible.
If you take issue with that, you weren't a true Harris fan to begin with.
