Polish MEP Dominik Tarczyński is explaining what is happening right now at Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal, calling it nothing less than a COUP D’ÉTAT!
“In Poland, we have a liberal-left government led by Donald Tusk, who is the Prime Minister. What is happening right now with the Constitutional Tribunal is that they want to take it over and fill it with their own people.
Why? Because they want to get rid of the Polish currency, bring us into the eurozone, and eliminate our secure borders. They are being pushed by the Germans, who want to spread the burden of illegal migration and send migrants to Poland.
First of all, the Polish złoty is our constitutionally protected currency. They have to change the Constitution to replace it, and without the Constitutional Tribunal, they cannot do that.
So, number one, they want to get rid of our currency and force us to adopt the euro and join the eurozone. Then they want to take our gold reserves, the largest in the European Union, to Frankfurt, to the European Central Bank, which is a German-based institution.
They also want to open our borders. And they want to make sure that when they lose the next elections, which are coming next year, the Constitutional Tribunal will be unable to do anything to stop their actions or reverse what they have done.
There are many more reasons, but I want you to understand one thing: they are under German influence. They are globalists, and we are fighting not just for Poland, but for Europe.
Be like Poland. Be strong. Our nation is strong, and we are going to win this fight!”

Statement by the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki
31 October 2026
Last night, the constitutional order of the Republic of Poland was violated and a constitutional state body was taken over by force. I have held consultations with the First President of the Supreme Court, Zbigniew Kapiński, who likewise does not recognise as legal the actions taken by persons usurping power in the Constitutional Tribunal.
I call for the restoration of the legal order and for the coercive forces sent there by the government to leave the Tribunal’s premises.
I have enabled the lawfully serving Vice-President of the Constitutional Tribunal, Judge Bartłomiej Sochański, to enter the Constitutional Tribunal.
In view of the threat to the internal security of the Republic of Poland, I am convening urgent consultations today with representatives of the parliamentary groupings, with the aim of stabilising the political situation and restoring the constitutional order.
I thank everyone who is at the Constitutional Tribunal, standing in defence of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland.

Statement by the First President of the Supreme Court regarding the situation at the Constitutional Tribunal
It is with the utmost indignation and firm opposition that I have received information about the actions taken today against the Constitutional Tribunal, in particular the deployment of Police officers to its seat, the prevention of the Vice-President of the Tribunal from entering the building, and the issuing of a document entitled an "order" providing for a suspension of official duties of the President and Vice-President of the Tribunal. These events are unprecedented in a democratic state governed by the rule of law and raise fundamental concerns as to their compatibility with the core principles of the constitutional order of the Republic of Poland. It is impossible to accept a situation in which disputes concerning the functioning of a constitutional state body become a pretext for actions leading to its de facto paralysis and to stripping it of all authority. This is a particularly dangerous precedent that strikes at the foundations of a democratic state governed by the rule of law.
It should be recalled that Article 7 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland requires public authorities to act on the basis and within the limits of the law, Article 10 establishes the principle of the separation and balance of powers, and Article 173 guarantees the separateness and independence of courts and tribunals from other branches of power. These provisions make it unequivocally clear that no public authority may, bypassing statutory procedures, arbitrarily restrict the activity of a constitutional state body or deprive those holding office in it of the ability to perform their duties. Nor may any state body grant itself powers not provided for by law, or use coercive measures to impose its own interpretation of the applicable provisions on other bodies.
There is not, and cannot be, any acceptance of a situation in which Police officers become a tool for de facto restricting the activity of constitutional bodies, and in which the ability of persons holding the highest state offices to perform their duties is decided by the use, or threat, of force. The Police, whose statutory task is to protect the safety of citizens and public safety and order, cannot be used as an instrument of pressure on the judiciary and the tribunals. Legal and constitutional disputes must be resolved by the means provided for in the Constitution and statutes. In a democratic state governed by the rule of law, the Police cannot be a tool for implementing the political will of those currently in power. To take a different view would mean that the scope of the independence of constitutional bodies is determined not by law, but by the ability to apply coercion.
Equally firm opposition is raised by the prevention of the Vice-President of the Constitutional Tribunal from entering the seat of the body in which he holds office, as well as by the issuing by Ms Anna Korwin-Piotrowska of a document entitled an "order" concerning a suspension of official duties of the President and Vice-President of the Tribunal. Article 130 § 1 of the Act of 27 July 2001 on the System of Common Courts (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024, item 334, as amended) provides for the possibility of ordering an immediate suspension of a judge's official duties only in strictly defined circumstances, and entrusts this power to the president of the court. This provision cannot constitute an independent basis for taking analogous action against the President and Vice-President of the Constitutional Tribunal by a person on whom the statute confers no such powers. Giving a particular act the form of an order cannot legalise an overstepping or usurpation of powers, nor lead to the circumvention of the statutory guarantees of the Constitutional Tribunal's independence.
Moreover, even leaving aside an assessment of the constitutional status of Ms Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, it should be recalled that under Article 11(2) of the Act of 30 November 2016 on the Organisation of and Procedure before the Constitutional Tribunal (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 2393), the direction of the Tribunal's work by a judge designated according to the criteria set out in that provision is permissible only in the period from the vacancy arising in the office of President of the Tribunal until a new President is appointed. This provision therefore does not authorise the takeover of the powers of the incumbent President, or his arbitrary removal from the performance of his duties. Likewise, the possibility of deputising for the President in certain circumstances, provided for in Article 12(4) of that Act, does not constitute a basis for unilaterally ordering a suspension of official duties of the President and Vice-President of the Tribunal. Provisions established to ensure the continuity of the Tribunal's functioning cannot be used as an instrument for depriving its incumbent bodies of their statutory powers. That would completely invert the purpose of these provisions and create a mechanism for the arbitrary takeover of the Tribunal's leadership, unknown to the existing legal order.
As First President of the Supreme Court, I firmly condemn all attempts to subordinate the activity of constitutional state bodies to the use of force or to decisions taken outside the statutory legal order. The Republic of Poland is a democratic state governed by the rule of law, in which the limits of the actions of public authorities are set by the Constitution and statutes, not by ad hoc political decisions, service orders or a show of force. Respecting these limits is not a matter of discretion, but an absolute obligation of every public authority. Silence in the face of actions undermining the independence of constitutional bodies means consent to practices that threaten the foundations of the constitutional order of the Republic of Poland. Today, it is the Constitutional Tribunal that is the target of such actions. Allowing such practices, however, would set a precedent that could in future be used against any other constitutional body of the state.
The authority of the state is built by upholding the law, not by a show of force.

10 ustanawia zasadę podziału i równowagi władz, natomiast art.
12 ust. Prowadziłoby to do całkowitego odwrócenia celu tych regulacji i stworzenia mechanizmu arbitralnego przejmowania kierownictwa Trybunału, nieznanego obowiązującemu porządkowi prawnemu.

💬 PiS Caucus Chairman @mblaszczak:
There’s a shortage of F-16 pilots, so what does @Poland_MOD do? It cuts the intake of future pilots.
This is no joke.
The daily Rzeczpospolita has revealed that Poland today has 47 F-16s and only around 40 trained pilots, while at least 70 are needed.
Now let’s look at the decisions regarding the Polish Air Force Academy.
In 2025, the admissions limit was 113 places for future pilots (combat aircraft, transport aircraft, and helicopters).
In 2026, the limit fell to ... 56 places.
So at a time when Poland already has a serious pilot shortage, the number of places for future aircrew pilots is falling from 113 to 56. By MORE THAN HALF!
And yet there are more challenges ahead. The F-35s are coming in. Apaches are due to be delivered from 2028, and to make full use of them the army will need hundreds of pilots.
We can spend tens of billions on the most modern aircraft and helicopters in the world. But equipment without trained people will not keep Poland safe.
The Ministry of National Defence should urgently answer: why, with such serious staff shortages, has the intake of future pilots been cut by more than 50%, and what is the plan to provide crews for the F-16s, F-35s, and Apaches?
W 2026 r. limit zmalał do… 56 miejsc.
A przecież przed nami kolejne wyzwania.

💬 PiS President @OficjalnyJK:
Tusk, as usual, is lying. He apparently works on the assumption that a day without a lie is a day wasted ...
The European Union is needed, but it requires fundamental reform. The crisis and decline of the EU in its current form are the result of Merkel’s rule and of one of her helpers, Tusk. It’s no surprise that Tusk is defending a system he himself benefited from as President of the European Council.
We want the EU to benefit not the elites, but above all ordinary citizens.
Hence my call for fundamental REFORM. Thanks to that, we will have an EU that is truly democratic and focused on improving citizens’ living conditions, lowering energy prices, strengthening security, a responsible migration policy and an ambitious economic and agricultural policy, without unnecessary bureaucracy.
We will do it. We will give the European Union back to its citizens. A great opportunity is emerging and we will not give it up because of Tusk’s lies.
It’s not reform that threatens the EU. Those who prop up this growing, chaotic crisis, which is hurting the citizens of European countries, are the ones leading us towards a Europe without the Union ...
Kryzys i zapaść w jej obecnym kształcie to efekt rządów Merkel i jednego z jej pomocników, Tuska.
My to zrobimy.
A jeśli ktoś chce Europy bez Unii, to niech podtrzymuje ten narastający, bałaganiarski kryzys, niszczący obywateli państw europejskich…

‼️The EU Treaties declare the equality of European states, in the preamble, in Article 4 and elsewhere. In practice, it is a complete fiction.
Real equality must be clearly guaranteed, above all through one simple principle:
✅ If a solution is allowed and tolerated in one Member State, it must be allowed in all of them.
If Germany can do it, so can Poland. There can be no doubt about this.
