the big takeaway from Trump making Stephen Miller his chief of staff is that he isn't changing and is leaning into the things that made him so toxically unpopular in the first place. it's going to be a rocky 2 years so thank goodness we'll soon have a Congress willing to actually exercise its powers, including if necessary impeachment

Presidents certainly have the right to pick their Chiefs of Staff, but selecting Stephen Miller shows that Donald Trump has learned nothing from the message Americans sent him in this election. Miller is the architect of some of the worst policies of this presidency, from the cruel and chaotic ICE enforcement to the tariffs jacking up your costs. Promoting him isn’t only bad for this Administration, it’s bad for the American people.

Indeed, Trump chose Miller precisely because Miller is a shameless liar and vicious demagogue. Miller may well aggravate Trump’s worst impulses; but it is probably more accurate to say that Miller reflects, and caters to, those impulses.

The new shift lever came in for my 66 Mustang. I had to drill out and tap a couple of the holes. This lever actually clicks in place.
