When deaths are low they focus on ‘cases’. When ‘cases’ plummet (as they have this past week), they switch back to deaths. When both cases & deaths fall, they produce dire predictions of what ‘might’ happen in the future. There are people who never want the ‘Covid crisis’ to end.
