Global prices for diesel and other middle distillates remain close to record highs in real terms as simultaneous conflicts in the Middle East and Russia continue to disrupt refinery operations and export routes.
The wars have become increasingly interconnected, damaging some refineries, while leaving others unable to maintain normal output because they cannot source enough crude and other feedstocks, or export fuels they have produced.
Global refinery capacity has been effectively reduced by as much as 10%, according to some estimates, creating an acute shortage of fuels, rapid depletion of inventories, and intense upward pressure on prices ...

Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband told Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the G20 that Russia will not win the war in Ukraine and that Putin should be told he is not winning.
The traditional group photocall was cancelled after around a third of ministers including Miliband refused to pose with Lavrov.
Critics have told Ed to shut up and stop trying to start a fight with Putin when you could not even fight yourself out of a wet paper bag.
