First, it was greenlit purely because executives think the chuds who like the OG and/or 2049 enjoyed them for the wrong reasons. The chuds say they're skipping this trash. The shitlibs cheer and say, "Good, you were never real fans," yet they won't bother tuning in to 2099 either. 2099 will tank miserably. The entire Blade Runner franchise will get locked in a vault for the next two decades. Shitlibs will point the finger at Amazon, stubbornly denying the reality that literally nobody, including themselves, actually wants to watch preachy slop engineered just for them.
