The USA is a genocidal dictatorship. Its Nazi Team A vs Nazi Team B elections don’t change that. 100% of US senators, including Sanders, voted to confirm Marco Rubio as Secretary of State.

Part horse, part fish, and full of character. Such a beautiful piece of craftsmanship.

This Haley Stevens shit is hilarious.
Who really believes El-Sayed is some radical? LOL. C'mon guys. NO Democrat who is allowed to get the nomination is a radical. It's not possible.

Netanyahu said that an Iranian nuclear strike on Israel would be like “10,000 tons of TNT falling on a country the size of New Jersey (22,610 km2).”
Netanyahu has dropped 223,000+ tonnes of explosives on Gaza (365 km2) - the equivalent of ~22 nukes on 1.6% the size of New Jersey

FROM SENATE CAMPAIGN TO ETHNIC STEREOTYPES: RFK JR.’S REMARKS DEMAND SCRUTINY
Why is America’s top health official attacking an entire population’s intellectual contributions? At a Michigan appearance supporting Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made sweeping claims about Arabs’ achievements in science and literature. Rogers’s campaign has also accused Democratic rival Abdul El-Sayed of ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, allegations El-Sayed denies.
Criticizing a candidate or political movement is one thing. Turning hundreds of millions of people into a campaign target is another.
Scientific progress needs investment, education and stability. Across parts of the Middle East and North Africa, war, foreign intervention and authoritarian rule have damaged those foundations. Libya illustrates the complexity: Gaddafi funded public services while presiding over repression; NATO’s 2011 intervention and the chaos that followed cannot disappear from the discussion either. None of that excuses abusive governments.
It means we cannot ignore the conditions societies endure, then use their struggles to stereotype their people. Scrutinize governments. Challenge political movements. But do not erase Arab achievements to score campaign points. Intellectual potential does not depend on ethnicity or nationality.

If I have no say or vote on whether my country goes to war or not, then what's the point of voting at all? I can't trust politicians to represent me when they're bought & paid for by someone else & will lie for a bag. I can't stand seeing ppl try to guilt other folks into voting.

The famous "Picard facepalm" meme is from the Star Trek episode "The Drumhead," aired in 1991, in which the crew becomes ensnared in a vicious spiral of national security paranoia, xenophobia, irrational suspicion and runaway confirmation bias and begins to carry out an ever-widening witch hunt against innocent crewmembers, baselessly and opportunistically accusing them of being "Romulan agents," stripping them of their rights and requiring them to prove their innocence.
Picard, having opposed it all along, is eventually hauled before the inquisition himself, provoking the famous "facepalm" gesture. He then refuses to defend himself, instead making a general plea for the entire system of rights that is under attack.
"With the first link the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
His opponent, the inquisitor, enraged by this, loses control and exposes herself as an authoritarian, and her spell is broken.
The episode was originally an allegory for McCarthyism in United States history. It should be required viewing for European establishments today, now a decade deep into a reenactment of the very same pathology, extending a culture of national security suspicion over everything, converting every domain of civilian life into a source of "threats," stigmatising differences of political opinion as "disinformation," thuggishly smearing opponents as being "pro-Russian" and eroding the framework of fundamental rights that gives our societies any claim to being democracies in the first place.
Those of us who know the importance of those rights will have lost count of how many times over recent years, listening to European political leaders lurch further into this psychosis, we have felt like putting our head in our hands in the universal gesture of dismay.

Impeaching Trump and Hegseth, investigating ICE officers, anything to hold the anyone in the power structure accountable would put the whole system in jeopardy. Harris might be held to account for her own actions, past and future.
Democrats will claim a “lack of resources” when the Republicans are somehow able to flood the zone with initiatives and trample the constitution.
They will claim they are engaging in considered, responsible strategy when the only way they manage to win every few years is solely based off the clownishness of MAGA.
Kamala’s first speaking engagement after losing the election was at an Australian real estate conference. Maybe they all run in the same circles? This is who you’re going to bat for.
