As simple as that. Let everyone hold their leaders accountable. Leave us to hold ours, go and hold your own.

Then it became a situation of their “bad” is “badder” than our own so let us celebrate because we have lesser evil when in truth both are evil.

I listened to a space they ran yesterday and I understood them better. I’ve never supported any politician or political party in my life but whoever is on the seat of power should ensure basic infrastructure reaches everyone. It’s an EMILOKAN orientation they’re exhibiting.

One was insulting me as if my realities and her own are the same. How can I live as a young boy in Ekiti with pipe borne water but today, after 30 yrs of existence, there’s nothing like that? Where then is the progress after they’ve claimed to spend millions of $$?? Ko ye mi.

They would’ve said “go back to Anambra” if it were Lagos. APC is a party of bigotry that has divided Nigerians more than ever before.

God bless you for this. God bless you for being honest.
Prof, it's a matter of fact that Ekiti is grossly underdeveloped, it's not hearsay. We live there, we experience it. I've made series of posts earlier talking about this. For a State that delivers tonnes of votes to the APC, it should be the priority of Ekiti State Government to go further than plans and ideas, what we keep hearing are plans and trajectories for the State, but I don't exactly see the implementation. I see that everyone has been celebrating the 98% IGR, but that in a State where people barely have jobs other than Civil Service? Shouldn't we ask about the burden of multiple taxation, surge of cost of living that is very obvious in Ekiti? If you visit the nooks and crannies of Ekiti, you'd see how people, citizens, small business owners, are always complaining about high cost of living, taxations, and the mode of enforcement these taxes are being obtained through. Let's be very honest, please. As of right now, not a single other party holds an executive or a legislative position in Ekiti State; Federal Seats, State Seats, and LGAs, should the people of Ekiti State not be rewarded with better standard of living and governance if they are putting their faith in one political party, or should we just praise the party's political game and not the governance game? Shouldn't that overwhelming political mandate translate into a demonstrably better standard of living for the people? And, have you seen the way political appointees in Ekiti attack anyone that criticises the Government? If the Rule of Engagement of BAO's appointee is too attack people that are criticising, even when he's doing something great, the people that are supposed to be in charge of repairing both His(Governor) and the State's reputation will be soiling it.

I still see these pipes in houses in Ado Ekiti and I'm wondering what they are meant for. Like some kind of fancy wiring around houses. It's such a shame. 5 years on. Yet no water is flowing.

I’ve not experienced power outage for 1 second on 4 years. I for over a year, I didn’t have need to buy a car because trains and free bicycles are available. Yet I still speak about Ekiti when I need to. In 2026, Ado Ekiti doesn’t have pipe borne water.
