Hamburg-Lokstedt, heute Nachmittag: Gegen 15:30 Uhr taucht ein 27-Jähriger beim Polizeikommissariat 23 auf. Erst will er nur eine Körperverletzung anzeigen.
Er bringt die Beamten zu einem Mehrfamilienhaus am Grandweg. Auf dem Weg dorthin rückt er plötzlich damit raus, dass in einer Wohnung eine Tote liegt. Die Polizisten finden die Frau mit tödlichen Verletzungen. Laut BILD liegt sie im zweiten Stock des Hochhauses, hat massive Kopfverletzungen, und die Wohnung ist voller Blut.
Der Mann ist gambischer Staatsangehöriger. Er wurde noch vor Ort wegen Verdachts auf ein Tötungsdelikt festgenommen. Jetzt ermitteln die Mordkommission (LKA 41) und die Staatsanwaltschaft. Wer die Frau ist, wie sie zu dem Mann stand und wie sie gestorben ist, ist noch offen.
Erst die Anzeige auf der Wache, dann die Festnahme am Tatort.

Covid locked people inside their homes. This locked them out of their own money.
Then it turned POLITICAL.
President Santiago Peña, the right-wing friend of Milei and Kast, was a SHAREHOLDER in Ueno's holding company until 2025.
And the man he picked to run the central bank in 2023 used to run Ueno.
Within 24 hours:
• the central bank chief signed his resignation after Peña asked for it
• Ueno's CEO handed himself in to police, 5 more executives DETAINED
• crowds in central Asunción demanding Peña's exit
• the opposition pushing to impeach him

People are tired of voting for change and then being told to wait until the next election. If we put you in office, we expect you to do the job. Tell us what you’ve accomplished, where you’ve fallen short, and what you’re doing about it. Having an R next to your name does not get you a pass.
We have to follow through ourselves. Pay attention to what happens at your school board, your city council, and in Congress. Our children will live with the decisions being made right now.
The next two years need to be about accountability. We cannot afford to be having this same conversation in 2028.
