JUST IN: @SAHPRA1 announces the recall of "specified batches of Citro-Soda amid safety concerns". The following will be removed from shelves:
- Citro-Soda Regular 60g
- Citro-Soda Regular 120g
- Citro-Soda Regular 4g x 30 sachets
The recall comes almost a month after #CarteBlanche raised questions about potential contamination of Citro-Soda lemon flavour products at Adcock Ingram's Clayville manufacturing plant.

PRODUCT RECALL: BUTTANUTT PEANUT BUTTER
The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has received a product recall notification from a peanut butter manufacturer, ButtaNutt (Pty) Ltd. The recall is a result of higher-than-legally-acceptable levels of aflatoxin detected in the product.
Aflatoxin may lead to health complications including nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
The affected products were manufactured on 15 January 2026 and distributed as follows:

Saturday night I was travelling from Century City back home and the route I take is the M5 South.
I was in the centre lane and passed a LARGE log perfectly centrered in the far left lane.
A few metres from the log was an individual sitting crouched in the bushes. (Kensington opp. Ysterplaat)
I realised what I've just seen and called the highway patrol which confirmed they would respond immediately to this threat.
Criminals are looking to capture the N1 in the same way they did the N2.
