Declare with me;
I am conscious of my oneness with the Father. I seek His will and do what pleases Him. His holiness and righteousness are my portion, and I live as His son. Amen.
Let your prayers, your choices and your conversations rise from the awareness that you are one with Him in life and nature, and let others see it. As the Father is, so is the Son. As the Son is, so are we in this world.
Beloved, ask the Holy Spirit to deepen your consciousness of the Father today, and to make it real to you in every moment. Be still and let it settle.
Look at how Jesus, the Son of God, lived. He was conscious of His oneness with the Father (John 10:30). He always sought the will of the Father (John 5:30). He did only those things that pleased the Father (John 8:29). He was conscious of the Father’s holiness (John 17:11)
Declare with me;
I grow up into Christ in all things. I am moving from glory to glory, and I will attain to the measure of the stature of His fullness. Amen.
Beloved, Christian maturity and perfection is possible. Do not settle for a childish walk. Feed on the Word, submit to training and press on toward the fullness of Christ. Live just like Jesus!
The perfect man is both individual and corporate. Individually, he is the saint. Corporately, he is the Church, the body of Christ. That is when the child of God reaches the acme of faith and the full knowledge of the Son of God, even as Christ in all His fullness.
God is not satisfied with Christians who stay small and do not grow. His desire is that you grow and mature like Jesus.
Why does maturity matter? It places us rightly to enjoy our place as heirs (Galatians 4:1–2). It is the goal of our birth, and it is inevitable in the purpose of God, our Father. We expect a child to grow. When a child does not, we treat it as a deficiency and give it attention.
God has a goal for every Christian, and it is maturity. Maturity means living in conformity to the expression of our identity, which is Christ. It is a process, and its standard is perfection, with Christ as the model (Romans 8:29).
