Call your reps!!! Enail! Even tweet at-them!!
great meeting with Rep. @RepGusBilirakis to discuss proposed @CMSGov MD budget cuts. He agrees doctors should not face 8.5% pay cuts in ‘23, especially coming out of pandemic. (old pic for posterity’s sake) #MedTwitter please meet with your Rep. & tell them to oppose MD cuts

Those of you on Medical Credentialling committees allowing non physicians to perform highly specialized and risky procedures without the benefits of a medical education or license to practice medicine...Why?..Are your patients truly informed when they consent?

The @AmerMedicalAssn should know better. Admin salivate over ‘more expensive’ care — it makes them more money! You need to highlight how midlevels don’t have the same training as physicians.
Primary care delivered by NPs and PAs is more expensive than care delivered by physicians, one health system's data revealed. So they found a solution that works better for patients. #StopScopeCreep spr.ly/6010zvg1I

Our impact is greater than we realize!
My goal with each person I meet is to impact them in such a manner that they see me as one of the better parts of their day!
If you were to make a list of people you impact regularly, who would be on that list?

#ACHD doc here. Some states only require pt records to be kept for 5 yrs. For a lot of ACHD pts, childhood op notes and cath reports have been destroyed. Even if they haven’t been, hospitals aren’t good at sharing records. Bringing us your binders full of notes is SUPER HELPFUL!
