Started making a simulation game for the Tormach ZA6 robotic arm so students can learn how an industrial robot moves before actaully moving one- Version 1 is on my website: teachingteched.com/tormach-z… @Tormach

Hardware looks scary until you break it down into small steps. So I built an app that takes you through Arduino one circuit at a time.
Made with Opus 5.5

First projects are being completed in Peru CSD’s Metal Manufacturing class. Students had to design and build a sheet metal dust pan. Layout, cutting, bending, spot welding, and drilling!
Peru CSD’s Product Design class is wrapping up making custom fishing landing nets! Students designed a steam box and bending forms to bend the wood hoop. These are fantastic!
New @Tormach mill is all set up at Clinton Community College’s Institute for Advanced Manufacturing- lots of work to assemble! Next step is to add an Industrial robot for machine tending
Installing the new @Tormach mill at the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing at Clinton Community College. Day 2 will be the enclosure.
Peru CSD’s Robotics class had their final build- making an automated factory! #dobot
Peru CSD’s Principles of Engineering class learned about linkages and mechanisms this year designing and building working hydraulic scissor lifts
Don’t strain your back! Peru CSD’s Power Mechanics class put together a homemade light duty gantry crane this year to help with engine moves
Peru CSD’s MST (math science technology) class had launch number 1 of their rocket powered airplanes! Students will create multiple versions of their wing designs to test for the optimal wing loading conditions!
Peru CSD’s Power Mechanics class has wrapped up their 2 cycle outboard engine restoration projects. Students diagnosed issues on some of these 60+ year old engines and a few are now running again!
Peru CSD’s Principles of Engineering class finished their final project of welding a crane truss arm with a motor and pulley system for lifting! Students used welding rod as their material for their designs and tested the amount of deflection under load.
Peru CSD’s Power Mechanics class has their Go-kart put together and are ready for warmer temps to take it for a spin! @PeruCSD
Peru CSD’s Robotics students discovered the best way to hand out candy for Halloween! @Tormach
Peru CSD’s Robotics class created their first robot program today for the @Tormach ZA6 robotic arm. Students used pathpilot hub to familiarize themselves with the controls then each programmed a waypoint.
