Same week he's in Strasbourg addressing the European Parliament, Macron's hosting him on Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon days before that, and Canada's already inside SAFE, the EU's €150 billion defence fund, since February.

Funny how 'stay out of our politics' only ever seems to apply southbound at the border. Also worth reminding our American friends that 'Conservative' doesn’t translate the same way up here. Disagree with them or not, traditional Canadian conservatism (mostly) is still built on fiscal policy and institutions, not a personality cult, vaccine-to-crocodile conspiracies, imaginary transoceanic swimming caravans, or blaming the housing crisis on washroom signs.
