My feeling on the Binance hack is that governments should be proactively doing this. Like, wrecking the cryptocurrency ecosystem. The less useful cryptocurrency is as a medium of exchange, the harder it is to monetize extortion cyberattacks that actually matter.

I think it is okay to kill animals at industrial scales to provide for human utility; I think this because I don’t believe they are people, rather, I think they are animals. Going through a “but imagine if you will that they are people” cycle just doesn’t compel me at all.
