This has been a real labour of love, and we're happy to share that it is now live: Race Atlas 🌍🚲
We’ve mapped 1,272 stages across 20 seasons of the men’s and women’s Tour, Giro and Vuelta, plus 97 iconic roads and climbs onto an interactive map.
Explore the roads, replay the routes and find out when a Grand Tour passed near your exact location 👇

We’ve added this interactive visualisation of the Tour de France 2027 route to our analysis of the major stages. Scroll up and down to move forward and back through the stages 👆👇
We hope this adds something extra to our written work and we hope to keep developing it:

Admittedly I'm biased but I think this is so cool 🔥🔥

Today we published our take on the top 10 breakthrough pro cyclists of the 2026 season, but we thought we'd make things more interesting with an immersive interactive timeline of each of their season 👀

This will take a lot of getting used to.
Interesting element of this deal is that Merida is a major shareholder in Specialized, owning 35% of the business.

Extremely thorough investigative piece on the sale and policing of illegal e-bikes in the UK in The Sunday Times today.
Also a very cool interactive design, definitely beats a long block of text.

I own a Bastion Road (it’s the bike in my profile header) and it is absolute dream to ride. They are so rare that I’ve never met another Bastion owner in the flesh, but I truly believe they are the pinnacle of custom bicycles. Ben is up there with Dario and Sacha and Richard Sachs IMO. Different ethos, but same relentless pursuit.
A few months ago we took a $20,000 Bastion Archetype custom titanium bike to the UK's most advanced CT scanner to see what it looked like inside 👀

Had a great chat with Ewan Kirk a few weeks back that’s stuck with me.
He ran a $ 4bn fund, spent £1,000 a month on Lego for his staff, and built a gravel bike from AliExpress parts that he’s ridden 12,000km.

This really is a hell of a story from NOS.
A very impressive investigation that poses a lot of tough questions for Picnic-PostNL and pro cycling’s approach to athlete welfare.

Contrary to most people, I don’t oppose the concept of night-time testing in cycling, but making Valentina Cavallar conduct a doping test mere hours after her mother passed away in the room next door, that’s just ridiculously inhuman.
As our Velora Race Atlas has proved so popular it's now a permanent fixture on our homepage 🙌
We've also deployed a bunch of UX updates, added new routes and added some very cool 3D visualisations in the last week.

Mergers haven't treated cycling broadcast well in recent years...
We have to hope that Paramount Skydance's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery doesn't continue that trend.

I'll be sad to see the end of cycling's most peculiar rule-breaking saga.
