So on 9th of July 2026 we laid my bro to the ground. While at the mortuary, after everyone had viewed the body, I found myself alone in that silent room with him.
Attendants walked in and found me motionless, somehow they understood and stood aside as I watched him. He was looking so much at peace.
Finally he seemed at rest, no pain, no fatigue, no starvation, he was just at peace.And once again, it was just the two of us. I remembered how we planned life for our people, I remembered so many things we did together.
At that moment, I found new strength, no tears rolling, no joy or happiness.I was numb. So I took my phone, Opened the camera and took one more picture of his body. Not with him but his body.
I wanted to tell him goodbye but I couldn't do it. The pain is still too much. I just don't know how his kids and wife are managing this.
Death robs us the very best. Staying up to 2,3 Am every other day feels so tiring.
