MAN SHOT DEAD IN SUSPECTED N1 SPIKING TRAP NEAR CAROUSEL PLAZA
A 41-year-old man was shot dead and allegedly run over by a passing vehicle after he and his wife fled armed robbers near Carousel Plaza on the N1 on Sunday night.
The man’s wife reportedly fled the attackers as the incident unfolded, amid suspicions that the couple may have been targeted in a spiking trap.
⚠️ Motorists are urged to remain vigilant when travelling on the N1, particularly at night.
This is another chilling reminder of the dangers motorists face on our roads. Suspected spiking incidents must be taken seriously, and police need to investigate these attacks and bring those responsible to justice.
