Niecy Nash says her tongue slipped out when she kissed her female friend, leading to the relationship that eventually made them husband and wife. Oprah Winfrey: “Has this ever happened to you before?” Niecy Nash: “With boys! With boys. Only with boys, only with boys. You know, and even, I mean, you know, I’m married to a woman, but she is very handsome. I don’t know, you know what I mean? But my stomach got hot and I was like, it’s official, I really am attracted to this person. And there was no, I had no more tricks left, so I got up and walked her to the door. No more movies to watch, no more nothing. Thanks for coming. See you next time. And when I hugged her, I kissed her on the cheek, which was not unusual. You know, like bye, you know, whatever. But I kissed her and my tongue came out a little bit, Oprah. And then, when I let her go, she looked at me and said, ‘Want to go lay down?’ And I’ve been laying down ever since, girl.”
