40p a week and a little bit of imagination opens up a whole new world 🥴 Small craft items—such as 39p 3D stickers, 26p crepe paper streamers, 25p ribbons, or 35p wooden blocks—can occasionally be found for under 40p at discount stores like The Range.
😂 Nick Ferrari bursts out laughing as Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds is forced to sell the latest government gimmick live on @LBC Reynolds looked thoroughly embarrassed as he tried to sell the plan to scrap import tariffs on a list of “everyday essentials”. When Ferrari asked him which products were included and what the actual savings would be, Reynolds immediately started dampening expectations, sheepishly admitting these were “not huge reductions” before reeling off the list: baked beans, chocolate, gherkins… That’s as far as he got. Ferrari could not contain himself and burst out laughing. 😭 Nick then pointed out that the Conservatives have called the projected saving of £21 per year “derisory”. You could see Reynolds was mortified reading it out. Imagine the brief he opened this morning and realised he had to go on air and sell this to the public. 😬 What a farce. Even on the government’s own figures, this works out at roughly 40p a week for the average household. Forty pence a week. You lucky people. Another pointless gimmick that will have zero material impact on people’s lives.

Knob of the North........ sorry I meant Nero of the North fiddling whilst the UK burns........£21 a year wouldn't get me a packet of Pork Scratchings on a weekly basis. We're feckin doomed aren't we.
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham has announced five "everyday fixes" ahead of the Budget 1. Carer's Allowance will be changed so carers no longer lose their entire benefit when they earn over the limit - instead, their support will reduce by £1 for every extra £1 they earn 2. Import tariffs will be removed on more than 100 products, including baked beans, chocolate and gherkins, to save households up to £21 on their food shop a year 3. Tax-free mileage rates for workers using their own cars will be made permanent at 55p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, with the rate for additional miles rising from 25p to 35p 4. Parental pay will be extended to over 150,000 more parents a year, including self-employed fathers and partners 5. Hundreds more Post Office drop boxes will be rolled out to save people queueing at branches

Mental health tribunals cannot allowed to be secret courts. They need to be open and transparent. If these tribunals are to release dangerous people into the community who violently reoffend, I want names of people on tribunal, I want minutes and I want accountability. If anyone reoffends, takes a life the justice system should go after the member of the tribunal who allowed the person to go back into the communities. We need a relook at these tribunals urgently. @ShabanaMahmood @MoJGovUK @NJ_Timothy @AlexDaviesJones

Once a Knob always a Knob.
There is nothing socialist about a system of free movement that is used by multi-nationals to undermine wages. WATCH my Brexit speech today.

It’s the right thing to do @ShabanaMahmood but appalling that Henry’s family have even had to fight this hard to get the ‘independent review’. I have no doubt the abject failures of our public agencies will once more be shamefully exposed. When will you listen? When will you act? Our policing, our watchdogs, our health service is FAILING. How many more innocent lives must be taken and decent families destroyed because those who didn’t do their jobs properly failed to take any accountability. ➡️ Independent review announced into murder of student Henry Nowak bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cv70…

"They don't like it up em Mr Mainwaring" I'm sorry Wes but its looking like you're going to have to send the older generation to fight . On the upside you can reduce the pension deficit and free up some housing stock .

Absurd rules and unrequired pressure on the police who could do without the extra work. Setting up whatever good police we have for failure. If I was commissioner, I wouldn’t stand for it. Where is the mayoral support for officers…..absent Where is the home office support for officers…..absent @MoJGovUK @MayorofLondon @ukhomeoffice
Officers will not act on breaches of curfews or tag batteries of under an hour, unless the person wearing the tag is considered to be of particular risk to the public under a new police scheme Sky's @Mollie_Malone1 explains in this exclusive report. trib.al/70ymFjK

Ahh yes but Knob of the North wants free movement in order to suppress wages and make it almost impossible for the indigenous to gain employment........ all for a cross in a box. Best thing folks can do is look abroad for work, it usually pays better.
Young lads up here can't get a start. Shipyards gone, pits long gone, apprenticeships like gold dust. And Burnham's answer is free movement for 450 million people chasing the same jobs. Train our own fucking kids first.

Seems the fact that Calocane can be considered for release in January came as a shock to many. He can. It happens. Appalling as it is. ….plus hundreds of criminal ‘patients’ like him. So I’ve written this to explain just how the ´hospital’ system works in this country. -‘Patients, Not Prisoners’ Not scaremongering - just fact. Please read and share if you can. This is what we are fighting against… Ps: Thanks to @hundredfamilies for input and support. God knows where I’d be without you Julian Hendy!! ⬇️ mrsemmawebber.substack.com/p…

Will this now apply to Nottinghamshire Chief Constable Rob Griffin? Or are we still expected to walk away and forget his catalogue of failures.
Six years after the recommendations of the Elish Angiolini review were accepted, independent misconduct panels will now apply only to the most senior officers – those at Assistant Chief Constable level and above. eu1.hubs.ly/H0z9tX20

Will the socks be policed? Do I need to wash all 3 at once? Who do I report a lost sock to? Can I play music OUT LOUD and vape when I wash socks? This is a minefield.

Once more. What is exposed here is just how appalling the disparity between the prison and hospital system is with serious offenders. Not to be confused with early release prisoners. Calocane is a patient. He is in a hospital. He therefore has automatic rights to apply via a tribunal. There is a process. These are held in private behind closed doors. The most we would be allowed to do is offer a victim impact statement. Hospitals treat. Not detain. 80% of offenders in receipt of indefinite hospital orders for these most serious of crimes (and they are crimes) are out within 10 years. Allegedly managed ‘closely’ and within the community. And we know how well that works! If denied then able to apply again. 12 months later. Rinse repeat. That’s how it works. And that’s why, over my literal dead body, will that monster ever ever be free to walk our streets again. I promise you that Barney. 💚💛 legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/198…

It is NOT a non story. Should you avail yourself of the facts; despite what was said, the reality remains that 90% of indefinite hospital orders result in the criminal patient being released within 10 years. Unlikely to be released was a statement and opinion by the Judge. Not a confirmation or a fact. And as will be proven, it was following what was an unsafe and misleading expert evidence. It is not only a valid and very real story that has devastated my own family and future (and that of the Coates and Kumars), it is one that has wider implications for the public and public safety. I can only imagine your off the cuff response was sent without taking the time to dig any deeper into the truth or detail. Or that you have any personal experience of mental health homicides. My response is in the hope to inform others who may read your flippant opinion rather than try to directly attack you.

Mr Justice Turner began: “I will say at the outset that the sentence I am about to pass upon you will result in you being detained in a high security hospital, very probably for the rest of your life' Non-story.

To clarify. It’s actually even worse. The horror of what our families face is this: my son’s killer, Valdo Calocane, was given a Section 37/41 hospital order. This is medical care, not a penal sentence. By January 2027—the 3-year mark—he can legally apply to a tribunal to come out if deemed well enough. Worse, until our recent fight to close the loophole, these criminal patients actively pocketed up to £800/month in state benefits from their hospital beds. A hospital order is not prison. We face a life sentence ensuring this monster is never released. #JusticeForBarnaby #NottinghamAttacks 💚💛
