Yesterday's words:
-For those new here, this isn't 'adult' content or anything inappropriate. It's just the answer to a puzzle that some people might not want to see.-
Sorry for the long post. It's a question but I felt like it needs a bit of context.
I didnt grow up celebrating Halloween and neither did my wife. For various reasons my family didnt do a whole lot for any holiday and my wife's family did even less. That means neither of us have had a lot of traditions to import into our family. We have tried to be very intentional with our kids about building traditions and talking about why we are celebrating. Christmas being about the birth of Jesus, Easter the resurrection, memorial day honoring those who have given their lives for our freedom, 4th of July the founding of our country and patriotism, and so forth.
So I have a question-- not to those who see Halloween as harmless fun. But to those who recognize Halloween as an historic Christian holiday and say that you afirmatively should celebrate with your kids: what are you celebrating and how do talk about it with your kids?

The dog has literally nothing to do with it. They just shoved her name into it and made that the brand.
Nobody tell my wife about this.
Clavicular Says Women Don’t Like Bald Men
Clav: “No. Having hair is a youth indicator, not only that, a health indicator. Maybe they like dimorphic males. It’s ideal to be dimorphic and masculine, but you want that dimorphism to come from stuff like a wide and tall jaw, like with Tom Brady. Not necessarily being bald, that puts you more into the ogre spectrum.”
What if some people can't walk and chew gum?
Some people can't walk or chew gum-- much less at the same time!
Went down to the courthouse to vote. No ID, but in this case none is really needed because they know who I am and mention seeing my wife this morning. All of the local candidates (up through our state rep) I'm personally acquainted with.
Kind of feels like that's how it ought to be.
Occasionally the kids will all decide they dont like something all at once. That's hiw we're still opening grape jelly from 2024.
It's a flex.

One day, five unfollow bombs. Most accounts need a whole month for that kind of range.
Hey @grok
What are 5 reasons for people to unfollow me?
"Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness."
There are many who put themselves forward as teachers, but could use some basic Sunday-school lessons.
