I understand what you're saying and I'd also be mad if someone I admired had been using/supporting AI. I'm the guy that made the poster and I need to clear this up, I did not, and will not, EVER, generate something from scratch with AI. What I did here was just upscaling a low resolution asset that was given to me (embed 1) with a (pirated) app (Gigapixel AI) that runs locally on my PC (so no environmental damage afaik). I do not currently think that would be considered harmful for artists, but I would like to know if this is an ignorant point of view and why by someone better informed than me. With all that said, I still did all of the merging and compositing by hand as can be proven below (embed 2).
