I’m watching strictly, and Mr P is in the kitchen watching sport. This has now finished and he’s discovered Ghosts and is now enquiring as to why we haven’t watched this before. Reader, I’ve watched every episode. This bodes well for me suggesting we watch the film.

To be clear I ask the kids permission. We have wave, high five, or hug as an option. We reset every time we meet and they can change their mind and that’s cool.
Following on the zero waste thing I made vegan banana muffins for breakfast (I’m not vegan, I just ran out of eggs!) and added the end of a bag of walnuts and dates and they were amazing! I also made garlic pizza bread but I ate it before I remembered to take a pic 🤣
I’ve had an indoor cat and it’s fine. I’d take Denise in a heartbeat if I wasn’t controlled by an angry tortie. Please someone take this beautiful girl.

We’re on a no waste kick at the moment. We had pre prepared pastry and sausage meat in the freezer. So I made sausage rolls for dinner (with salad and chutney) and honestly, best choice ever.
Trainspotting. The book is phenomenal. The film is the worst kind of dumbing down to sell merch, promote a soundtrack I’ve ever seen.
Not getting into an argument about the NHS (and if you do, please unfollow me) but I had a check up on Friday for an ongoing condition, medication changed in appt, letter to GP sent within 24 hours, on the waiting list for (non urgent) surgery less than an hour after being seen.
