What the young people should realize is that when the 9/11 attack happened, us elder millenials (and generations before us) lived that calm, "peaceful", everything seemed good, life.
That ALL changed. Our life as we knew it was gone, D.O.N.E
We watched in absolute shock and horror and in real time of those planes slamming into the WTC , we watched people jumping out of the really effing tall buildings, and then the buildings collapsing. We couldn't comprehend it, we were scared & angry.
