A socialist Labour in our current FPTP faux democracy stands no chance of winning with 1 major right wing party vs 5+ others + MSM & SM propaganda.
The only people who get into government with FPTP have broad appeal. Labour can be as socialist as it wants if/when we get PR.

No - you want them sending straight to Nigel’s security team.
Sometimes......
I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall.
Andy Burnham says he is going to send illegal migrants to every postcode in the UK.
Only @reformparty_uk MPs are fighting this whilst Labour MPs support it.
I don't want rapists, paedophiles, murderers and terrorists sending to every postcode.
1200 illegals have arrived over the past few days.
Have a listen to this.

More than 30 senior Tories named in new Covid PPE ‘VIP lane’ records
Democracy For Sale reveals full details of ‘politically connected’ fast track lane for lucrative PPE contracts released after Democracy for Sale reporter's five-year legal battle.
By Peter Geoghegan and Jenna Corderoy
Eight members of Boris Johnson’s cabinet named in full list of Covid VIP lane referrals.
More than 30 senior Conservatives are named in newly released records of companies referred to the government’s controversial Covid PPE ‘VIP lane’ back in 2020, following a five-year fight by Democracy for Sale to force the government to divulge the information.
The documents identify hundreds of businesses – and the politicians, ministers, senior civil servants and other figures who recommended them for the ‘VIP lane’ to lucrative government Covid contracts.
Among those named are eight members of Boris Johnson’s cabinet, Sarah Ferguson and the banking giant Santander.
Four of those cabinet ministers in the documents had not previously been named: then foreign secretary Dominic Raab, justice secretary Robert Buckland, Welsh secretary Simon Hart, and housing secretary Robert Jenrick, who is listed only as a ‘possible’ referrer.
Companies referred to the VIP lane were ten times more likely to secure contracts, according to the National Audit Office. Around £1bn of the £1.7bn spent on PPE from VIP suppliers was wasted on supplies later deemed unfit to use.
The release of the records brings to an end a fight for transparency that began in February 2021, when now Democracy for Sale reporter Jenna Corderoy submitted a Freedom of Information request seeking the names of every company referred to the so-called ‘VIP lane’ and those who had recommended them.
The government resisted disclosure for more than five years. In February 2025, a tribunal ordered it to name the unsuccessful suppliers and rejected its argument that identifying their referrers would cost too much.
The Cabinet Office still withheld the referrers’ names until Democracy for Sale appealed to the Information Commissioner’s Office, who ruled last month that they should be disclosed. They were finally published on Thursday.
The Cabinet Office has warned that it cannot completely verify the accuracy of the reconstructed referral data, and some individuals are identified only as ‘possible’ referrers. There is no suggestion that making a referral was itself improper.
Among other things, the documents show:
Raab recommended a Cambridgeshire toy maker who had only a single employee at the start of the pandemic. 'Honest Bob' Jenrick, now Reform UK treasury spokesman, is listed as ‘possibly’ referring an export packing firm.
Graham Brady, then chair of the 1922 committee of backbench Tory MPs, referred an interior design company near his Altrincham and Sale West seat. Brady told Democracy for Sale that he had “no recollection of this but given the location, I assume I was passing on an approach from a constituent. I have no involvement with the company and never have had.”
Owen Paterson, who later left parliament after a lobbying scandal, referred a Birmingham biotech firm working on pregnancy complications. None of these firms were given contracts.
Then health secretary Matt Hancock is named against 27 companies, three of them marked ‘possible’.
Former Conservative party chairman Lord Feldman is recorded against 21 (three ‘possible’) and
Cabinet Office minister Lord Agnew against 14 (four ‘possible’).
Grant Shapps and Michael Gove also referred firms, including, in Gove’s case, Meller Designs, run by donor David Meller, which received £164m in Covid contracts.
Sarah Ferguson, then the Duchess of York and ex-wife of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, referred Biz Trading Ltd, a small London-based pharmaceutical company that was dissolved in 2022, according to Companies House.

Is the BBC Chris Mason going to be investigating why the Conservative Party were handing out Covid contracts to their mates?🤔
Dan 🌍 #FBPPR retweeted
The Tory government preferred to give COVID contracts to people recommended by Sarah Ferguson rather than to firms that had been in medical supplies for decades.
What a corrupt country the UK is.
Long overdue for #ElectoralReform and proper scrutiny of government and Royalty.

Support for the Conversion Practices Bill collapses once people realise it criminalises parents who try to protect their child from the harm of binders, blockers and hormones. Reasonable, responsible parenting is in the dock.

The Conversion Practices Bill: When the State Enters the Family Home
“I think this bill is ripe, frankly, for a declaration of incompatibility.”
That was the stark warning from criminal barrister Dennis Kavanagh at the Joint Committee's first oral evidence session on the draft Conversion Practices Bill in Westminster on Thursday, 29 October.
Kavanagh set out how the proposed legislation risks conflicting with FIVE articles of the European Convention on Human Rights:
Article 7: The right to know what conduct is criminal before you can be punished for it.
Article 8: The right to respect for private and family life.
Article 9: Freedom of thought, conscience and belief.
Article 10: Freedom of expression.
Article 14: Protection against discrimination.
His central warning was devastatingly simple. How can a mother and father sit at their own kitchen table, read this legislation and know whether an ordinary parental disagreement might expose them to criminal prosecution?
As Kavanagh put it: “The state is now saying how to parent.”
And he warned of the consequences when the law eventually meets the family home:
“Particularly, I think, on Article 8, when the first poor unfortunate parents, I suspect mothers, are arrested under this bill.”
There is a bitter irony in a government claiming to protect human rights while introducing legislation that a criminal barrister warns could violate five of them.
Nobody disputes the need to protect children and vulnerable people from genuine abuse. But a law that leaves parents uncertain whether their words, beliefs or decisions could be treated as criminal conduct raises profound questions about the limits of state power.
A parent's right to disagree with their child must never become a matter for the criminal courts simply because the state disapproves of that disagreement.
Watch Dennis Kavanagh @Jebadoo2 explain why this bill poses such serious questions for our fundamental freedoms.

🇬🇧 A new poll finds support for Labour’s proposed conversion therapy ban drops by more than half when supporters are told parents could face prosecution for refusing to affirm their child’s gender identity.
“You could, as a parent, be 100 per cent motivated by welfare, and still trigger the bill,” warned barrister Dennis Kavanagh.

As @TransparencyUK 's Duncan Hames says “the public have right to know who was fast-tracked [to VIP Lane] and on whose say-so. "Five years of resisting disclosure has been a prolonged and unnecessary failure of transparency, and it has only deepened the damage to public trust"

This unprecedented and frankly absurd trigger warning from Parliament shows just how much the quasi-religion of gender identity doctrine has permeated all our institutions.
“This evidence session may include content that some viewers may find distressing.”
Replying to @LucyHunterB @lnmackenzie1
It’s seriously wild that Parliament has heard detailed statements on, amongst other things: the Holocaust, the Omagh bombing, Hillsborough, Aberfan, & the 7/7 terrorist attacks.
But the only time in 200 years they’ve needed a trigger warning was @Jebadoo2 pitching up to tell them it was wrong to sterilise autistic gay teenagers.

🚨Senior Tories and Sarah Ferguson named as people who fast-tracked firms into Covid PPE deals
After a five-year legal fight, the government has finally named more than 30 senior Conservatives who referred companies into the Covid PPE VIP lane. Eight of Boris Johnson’s cabinet ministers appear, including Dominic Raab, Robert Buckland, Simon Hart and Robert Jenrick. Matt Hancock is linked to 27 firms, Lord Feldman to 21 and Lord Agnew to 14. Michael Gove, Grant Shapps and Graham Brady are also named. Sarah Ferguson referred a small pharmaceutical company that shut down in 2022. Companies that got this fast-track treatment were ten times more likely to win contracts, yet large amounts of the kit later proved useless. The Covid Inquiry called the system inherently biased.
Why did ministers spend five years fighting to keep the names of those who referred firms into this preferential system hidden from the public?
