I had two plumbers in today fixing my boiler, one in his fifties and a 16-year-old apprentice.
They spotted my Reform beer mat and we got chatting. The young lad said, ‘All my mates from college are voting Reform. We can’t wait. We’ve had enough.’
He spoke about immigration, employment prospects and why he didn’t want to attend university because of its left-wing culture. The older chap shared concerns about immigration and the future for his children.
Don’t underestimate the youth of today. They’re paying attention, asking questions and forming their own opinions.
Get out and talk to people. You’ll learn far more than you will in an X echo chamber.

People can say it’s a definite red and that “it’s always going to get given” all they want but he was sent off for violent conduct which has to be an act of either excessive force or brutality. If you think that was either then you need help.

What message is he even trying to get across here? For a start, most retail workers are rightly told not to challenge shoplifters. Jenrick himself has also consistently opposed legislation that would take a tougher stance on both shoplifting and abusing or assaulting shop workers
Liverpool got CL football last year with 60 points. The idea that City couldn’t achieve 80-85 points is madness; of course they could. They could also easily qualify for the Europa League and qualify for CL through winning that. This would be an embarrassingly lenient punishment.

The idea consists of removing the club an amount between 20 and 25 points in the Premier League for 3 to 5 years.
This would not allow them to qualify for the Champions League in theory, and they would be stuck at a sort of 'dead zone' in the middle of the table.
