I’m perfectly fine with my child-free taxes contributing to your children’s education, meals, and healthcare. I’m also happy to help fund your mother’s cancer treatment and your cousin’s insulin. That’s what a functioning society should look like. You’re welcome.

This all started on day 1 when he pardoned J6ers who beat cops and continued from there with one disgusting, corrupt thing after another day after day after day while Republicans in Congress either remained silent or agreed with all of it. Today they pay for that.

What Vivek did was disgusting and immediately discredited him and showed exactly who he was. Congrats Amy!
I have been holding my tongue about something that happened during the Ohio gubernatorial race. I refused to speak while the election was underway because I did not want my words mistaken for an attempt to influence anyone’s vote. But now that the election is over, I have something to say. For nearly twenty years, my ministry has taken me among the homeless, the abused, the exploited, and the forgotten. I have sat with victims of sexual violence and witnessed the lifelong wounds of childhood trauma. What Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign did to Amy Acton was among the most morally repulsive things I have witnessed in American politics. They took a woman whose stepfather was indicted for raping her when she was twelve years old and featured her mother, from whom she had been estranged for nearly fifty years, in a political advertisement attacking her credibility. The advertisement challenged Acton’s account of her childhood without mentioning the sexual abuse allegations or the circumstances of that estrangement. When people expressed their horror, the campaign defended it. Imagine examining another person’s childhood suffering and fractured family relationships, then deciding those wounds might help win an election. Anyone who has worked with survivors of childhood sexual abuse understands the painful realities of denial, betrayal, shame, and estrangement. A child growing into a successful adult does not erase what happened. Nor does a parent’s denial make that suffering disappear. I find it equally disturbing that an elderly mother, whom Acton herself described as unwell, was brought into this spectacle. Whatever her own struggles or responsibility for the past, exploiting that fractured relationship was grotesque. To everyone who defended this, consider the message you sent to survivors. To the young woman whose family refuses to believe her. To the man who has carried the shame of childhood abuse for forty years. To the frightened child who has yet to tell anyone. What did you teach them about the value of their suffering? I am a priest. I believe in repentance, forgiveness, and redemption. But none of those things requires me to pretend that deliberate cruelty is anything less than a grave moral failure. Your political allegiance does not absolve you of moral responsibility. You do not get to set aside your conscience during an election and retrieve it afterward. If your loyalty requires you to defend the exploitation of a childhood sexual abuse survivor, your loyalty has become an idol. And if your conscience cannot recognize the wrong here, examine what political tribalism has done to it. This is not about Republicans or Democrats. We have a choice as a people: continue excusing cruelty from our preferred political camp, or summon the courage to condemn it wherever it appears. Amy Acton deserved better. Every survivor who watched this unfold deserved better. And God help us if we have reached the point where winning an election matters more than protecting the dignity of a wounded human being.

Dems look like they might get 56. Rs will never get that back for a long time. You ignore primaries for years, anoint a charlatan as not just leader but God, and then mimic his retardation every day for a decade, at some point the chickens come home to roost.

When you step back and take in how hard this regime has fought…and is still fighting…to bury everything Epstein-related, you see just how wicked these elected Republican leaders and their ilk really are. It's not just the covering of crimes and criminals. It's the horrifying spectacle of people who smile and glad-hand in public while stooping to ugly, life-destroying acts behind the scenes.

Amy Acton must win ❀️
BREAKING: PSYCHO! Trump absolutely LOSES it on a reporter for aggressively confronting him about his defense of Vivek Ramaswamy's disgusting campaign ad. This really hit the dementia nerve center... "A mother is saying, don't put my daughter there because she's a terrible person and she's a liar. Why shouldn't somebody use that?" said Trump, his hair crazy and sticking out like someone who just wandered out of the psychiatric ward. "But do the sexual abuse allegations mean nothing to you?" a reporter asked. For context, Ramaswamy's ad features the mother of his Democratic opponent Amy Acton urging voters to reject her daughter. The horrifying part is that the mother sided with Acton's stepfather after he raped her as a child. It is, quite literally, an ad featuring a pedophile protector. "Let me ask you, if my mother saidβ€”" said Trump. "But do the sexual abuse allegations make no difference? They make no difference to you?" the reporter bravely pressed. "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, slow down. Who are you with? Who are you with?" Trump asked, leaning forward slack-jawed. "I'm with NBC, sir," she said. "One of the worst networks you have! Listenβ€”" said Trump. "But there are very serious sexual abuse allegations," the woman said, undeterred. "Quiet!" snapped Trump. "Steve if myβ€”" "They make no difference to you?" she asked. "Isn't she a fresh person? You're a horrible little reporter, aren't you?" said Trump. "If my mother said bad things about me, do you think the Democrats would put it up? I think so. But my mother thought I was wonderful. Thank you, Mom. My mother would never, even if she thought them, she would never say." "This is a person, a mother, a smart woman. I watched, smart woman," Trump said, describing a woman who ignored the sexual abuse of her own daughter. "She said her daughter is a disaster. Her daughter is a liar. And she felt that she had an obligation. And she also said her daughter lied about her opponent, which is Vivek. Ramaswamy." "Umm. If I had that adβ€” I should be so lucky to have an ad like that," he continued. "Why wouldn't you listen to a mother that says that? Why? Why would you Miss NBC? Why wouldn't you listen? Wait a minute. Quiet." "She stayed with a stepfather who was charged with raping his stepdaughter in 1978 sir," the reporter said, loudly projecting her voice. "I don't know anything about a stepfatherβ€” All you haveβ€” Boy, this one just keeps talking. You just keep talking," whined Trump. "I'm answering you," she said bluntly. "You haveβ€” I don't know anything about stepfathers. From many, many years ago," said Trump, clearly aware of the underlying allegations. "I know that recently a mother got on television and said that her daughter should not be governor of Ohio." "And she said, I love my daughter. But my daughter lies all the time and lied about her opponent," said Trump. "And I can't watch it. And the mother got upβ€” This has nothing to do with a stepfather or anything else. This has to do with the fact that a woman got out, the mother of a person running for governor of one of the greatest states where I set records and said that she's a liar. Her daughter is a liar. She said her daughter lied about Vivek and the mother couldn't take it anymore. She basically said her daughter should not. That's what she said. Her daughter should not be the governor of Ohio. To me, that's something that's very much fair game." Obviously, Acton's mother is highly incentivized to smear her daughter as a liar, because that in turn helps to undermine Acton's accusation that she sided with the rapist stepfather. This woman is acting out of self-interest and Republicans are all too happy to exploit it. There's also the added layer that the Republican Party is pro-pedophilia and pro-sexual abuse. Trump himself is an adjudicated rapist whose name appears throughout the Epstein files. These people do not see women as anything more than objects. It's our sacred responsibility to ensure that they are removed from power for good. That starts with the midterms. Please ❀️ and share if you can't wait to see Amy Acton crush Vivek!
