Almost 1000 people want @Apple to add a #climate #podcast category to @ApplePodcasts.
Here’s what @emilyywu, @danilic, @Rakeshkamal, @Stphn_Lacey & @KateTaylorLDN have to say about it!

Who are your favorite climate change influencers/scientists to follow? Go! ⤵️
Sam Elsom is a passionate and compelling advocate for seaweed for aquaculture. And yes, seaweed can (and will) effect what ends up on your BBQ at home. Surf and turf 🐮🌊

Once again, *every single ad* we try to run for @degreespod on Facebook and Twitter is rejected because we mention climate change. We've tried every watered-down variation you can think of, and they still won't let us promote any of our climate podcasts.
It wasn't long ago that a grassroots campaign asked @ApplePodcasts to add a #climatecategory and then @iHeartRadio stepped up and did a great thing. @how2saveaplanet didn't join the campaign, or respond to any messages. Now they're going @spotifypodcasts exclusive. Wow.
We're picking up this baton and sticking with it like that account that asks if @JeffBezos has ended world hunger today.
Dear @ayanaeliza and @abexlumberg | why is @how2saveaplanet becoming a @spotifypodcasts exclusive?

Pretty chuffed with this neighbourhood that @iHeartRadio have built to make the richness of #climatepodcasts visible! Thanks for hearing the @PodcastsDeclare call and taking action @iHeartMedia.

Yay @iHeartRadio !!! (Now scrambling to see how to switch @wastenotpod category to 'Climate' on iHeart!)
Thanks to @ayanaeliza for the spotlight on climate podcasts in @spotifypodcasts
There are of course HUNDREDS of climate podcasts being made by the great and good, and the meek and mild. Personally, we like a mix of them both.

For a list of great climate shows, there's podcastersdeclare.com. Or, @iHeartRadio have had courage and been the world's first podcast app to add a standing climate category - beating both @spotifypodcasts and @ApplePodcasts to the punch.
The Open Letter we sent to @ApplePodcasts asking for a #climatecategory isn't the only open letter @Apple has ignored lately. Important as the #climatecrisis is, we're less surprised that we got no reply, than this group of Apple employees being ignored.

We love that idea! And yeah that'd be great. The Podcasters Declare team is having a little break to rest and recuperate but - give us a week and we'll be into it!
