Gutted to be having to do this, but after 8 years today marks the end of the line for us!
Some wonderful memories with this team, some cracking games, and countless players who have made the journey one I'll never forget.
Thanks to anyone who's ever been involved with poets..
And to the teams we've played against, it's been amazing.
Thanks to the @ChesmanSFL for the last few seasons, hopefully one day we can make a return, but for now unfortunately our times done and Swinton Poets officially fold 💔
💙💙
Currently have no official for our game on Sunday!
If anyone knows of one or can get one for us then hit us up!
11am kick off @ Littleton road, Salford
@ChesmanSFL
@Total_Football
@MFA_Referee
@ref4me
Good to get our first win of the season yesterday in an end to end game v @AFC_Stockport
Some of the hard work finally paying off with a hard fought 4-2 win for the lads!

* New Players Needed *
We've lost up to now 6 players and potentially could lose more, as a club if we lose 2 or 3 we would more than likely end up folding. In the last 6 years numbers have been great but due to reasons beyond control we are struggling for players
1/2
If anyone knows of any or you yourself fancy coming down then please get in touch.
We don't want to lose this club and the players we have not have anywhere to go!
Please RT and help find us new players!
Based in Salford and we play in the @ChesmanSFL

Penultimate game of the season tonight away at @ManMaccabiFC hoping to end the season strong and have something to build on for next year!
6.45 kick off, Brooklands!
💙
Disappointing result Sunday, but one that could have been very different if we had taken one of our chances in the first 20, instead of being 2 down at HT we could have a been 2 up but it wasn't to be!
Dust ourselves off & go again this Sunday
Final result
1-6

Fancy winning yourself or your club £110!
The club are doing a Football name card to raise some needed funds for the club and get some new match day equipment.
We're independent, sponsored our own kits and have no other funds in other than subs.
So if you fancy a go message us!
An absolute crazy game today and no other way to explain it than a game of two half's!
4-0 up and threw it away, massive credit to @WhalleyRangeFC heads didn't go down and they came back to take a point.
4-4 the final score
