Perhaps the best thing to come out of all the new money entering the hobby is silencing the “Pokemon mob” who thought they ran the show.
They tried so hard to gatekeep and tell people what was right and wrong. Coordinating attacks on specific people, spreading rumors & lies, etc.
Now they are irrelevant. Real players stepped in and changed “their hobby” they thought they owned.
Gatekeeping never works in the long run.
