"Fuck Belgium too, serves them right for not allowing an army to invade their country to attack another"
Yeah, I hate the 18 year olds who got mowed down in Flanders too. Fuck these guys.

Conservative leader @PierrePoilievre goes head to head with Mark Carney. Carney says affordability is the best it's been in over a decade. @PierrePoilievre says Mark Carney is completely out of touch with Canadians.

Oh those dastardly villains who want money for... checks notes... amputees and war widows
Replying to @ksm_wilson
I must nonetheless congratulate Jake on coming up with the most novel conspiracy theory I've seen in a while: that the poppy-wearing period keeps getting extended to enable a cadet-facilitated money grab on the part of the Legion: xitter.gq/JakeLandauTO/status/21…

Ah yes the famous bad causes we fought for: - Halting the destruction of Western Europe in WW1 - Defeating the Nazis in WW2 - Defending South Korea from destruction - Preventing further ethnic violence in the balkans - Halting the the cynical use of a country for terror
Regardless of who here is or isn't, I don't wear a poppy because I don't support all Canadian soldiers, lots of them fought for bad causes or are bad people! I support a strong military but it must be forged in a new ideological mould, one of humility.

Do you actually follow the news anymore, Coyne, or just that internal drummer that keeps prompting you to make stupid remarks on social media and in your columns? His name is Mark Carney, remember? The PM? He's pushing Canada to join the EU.
Nobody is pushing to “join the EU.” Literally nobody.

Guy who thinks the biggest problem with the First World War was the conscription crisis.
"You need to wear a poppy to honour World War One" no I don't actually that was a dumbfuck war that nearly ripped our country apart with the Conscription Crisis and only anglo morons think that's a proud moment in Canadian history

The verdict is in. Mark Carney's massive inflationary deficits are forcing higher interest rates on hard-working Canadian families like yours. Every dollar you owe on your mortgage, line of credit, or small business loan will now cost you even more. Only Conservatives can stop the inflationary deficit spending and restore financial sanity.

As Pierre Poilievre highlighted in Question Period, yesterday, a proposed project could move 250,000 barrels of Canadian oil a day using existing rail infrastructure and export it through Prince Rupert to overseas markets. The Liberal tanker ban stands in the way. #C264 #cdnpoli

Alberta separatists had their referendum, and the people of Alberta spoke resoundingly. You can now either have a UCP government led by Danielle Smith, or an ANDP government led by Naheed Nenshi. There is no third option. Choose accordingly.

Don't ask what his great grandpa was doing in Poland in 1939!
Oh, my great-grandpa was an officer in the Red Army. He commanded 70 men against the Nazis, helping hasten the liberation of our people, the Jewish people! THAT is an honourable cause, fought under a noble banner. The poppy is not for me nor my ancestor, whose name I bear.

The culture war is already here, the only choice is between fighting for what's right or fighting for the moral degeneracy that Jake and his radically progressive ilk so desperately desire. There is no third position here, they only serve the radically progressive cause

Not allowing the German Empire to brazenly invade neutral Belgium to attack France is good actually.
