🤯 Tesla is deleting parts to make cars lighter! Here is how:
Most EV companies build a car frame and then put a heavy battery pack inside it. @elonmusk decided to change the game entirely with "Structural Batteries."
💡 The Concept:
Instead of adding dead weight, the battery pack IS the floor of the car. It acts as the structure itself, just like fuel tanks integrated into the wings of modern airplanes!
🔥 The Result:
• Eliminates "Excess Structure" (shown in red in the image)
• Massive reduction in overall vehicle mass
• Significant boost in driving range 🔋
Simply genius engineering. Are structural batteries the absolute future of all EVs? 👇

True
In September 2014, Elon stood under a tent on an almost empty beach at the very tip of South Texas, waves crashing just over the dunes, and broke ground on a launch site.
In May 2025, he stood in front of a crowd at that same corner of Texas and said it plainly: "not that long ago, there was basically nothing here."
Now it's a city. Literally. On May 3, 2025, Starbase voted to incorporate, 212 to 6. In Elon's words, "the first new city made in America in I think quite a few decades." I love the "I think." Even his victory laps come with error bars.
What gets me is how it got there. One of the first things to fly was Starhopper, a stubby steel tank on legs that he calls "the original sort of Mad Max rocket." In August 2019 it hopped 150 meters. Then came prototypes that flew, flipped and sometimes exploded in full public view, right next to a public highway.
That's his pattern. Pick the thing everyone says is impossible, build it in the open, break it, learn, build the next one, and keep going until the laughing stops. "In the space of about five or six years... we've built a small city... and a gigantic rocket factory for a gigantic rocket."
Then in October 2024 the rocket came home and the launch tower caught it. His reaction: "it's really mind-blowing that the SpaceX team has been able to catch the largest flying object ever made multiple times."
My favorite detail? You can just go and look. Anyone interested in seeing the largest flying object on Earth "can come here anytime they want and just drive down the public highway and see it." Name another place where you can watch the future get welded together from your car window.
Why does a sandbar in Texas matter to me, thousands of kilometers away? Because it proves you don't need permission to build the future. You need a team, a beach, and the stubbornness to stay on it. The mission hasn't changed since the groundbreaking: "to take humanity and civilization and life as we know it to another planet for the first time in the 4 and a half billion year history of Earth."
And the line I keep coming back to: "we can be out there among the stars making science fiction no longer fiction."
From empty dunes to a city that builds Mars ships. I made a short film about it.

🧩【 THE DIRECT CONTEXT 】
The presence of those flags is simply because the primary student organizations leading this specific march are directly affiliated with the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE).
They were the core organizers demanding better public school conditions and housing. 📜
🧩【 THE REALITY 】
It’s a standard student union mobilization in Greece rather than an ideological shift.
Transparent facts and community notes are exactly why accurate framing matters on this platform. 🛡️✨

Protests are now erupting in Greece as thousands of people are seen marching in the streets
It has been branded as a student protest matching for better school conditions
What does that have to do with the communist flag?

• Dame's ability to handle that kind of emotional pressure and immediately pull up from deep is what makes him a future Hall of Famer. Portland fans knowing exactly how special this moment is.
• True class from the Portland crowd. The transition play and execution for that first bucket proves that Dame Time never really left the Moda Center.

• This is exactly the kind of accountability football fans respect. Carrick isn't hiding behind excuses, he is addressing the root problem. Absolute respect for this honesty.
• Football is more than just a job for legends like Carrick. Seeing him this frustrated shows that the issues inside the squad run much deeper than what we see on the pitch.

High-speed, low-latency internet in the sky is no longer a luxury, it's becoming the standard. How long before other major airlines are forced to ditch legacy Wi-Fi just to survive? ✈️🤔

Before you go to vote, remember what is at stake.
James Talarico will be a 100% reliable vote for Chuck Schumer. He will re-open our borders, take away your Second Amendment rights, and end Texas' oil industry.
He will fight for taxpayer funded abortion through birth and trans surgeries for minors-- and rub your most deeply held Christian beliefs in your face while doing it.
We need everyone to get out and vote for @KenPaxtonTX, a leader who will deliver for us in the Senate just as he's done as our Attorney General.

BREAKING: United CEO Scott Kirby, during the Q3 earnings call, says customers are switching airlines solely for @Starlink and staying with United.
“Starlink, a new and truly differentiating RASM tailwind in 2027. Today, about half of United departures are on Starlink-equipped aircraft, but we offer more Starlink flights than the entire U.S. airline industry combined.
Importantly, we're seeing evidence that Starlink is a motivating factor for customers to choose which airline they fly. That's why we launched a new tracker so people can check that their flight has it and can follow along as we outfit our fleet.
It's hard to get brand-loyal customers to switch airlines. Customers who are brand-loyal to other airlines and have flown them for years switch to a United flight solely because of Starlink."
