Islam Makhachev just said the winner of Carlos Prates Vs Michael Morales is one of his last fights ever.
Islam is close to the end of his career, and he's still asking for the most dangerous fight available. That says a lot about who he is. 💪
Who gives him the tougher fight, Prates or Morales? 👇

Imagine being an elite Muay Thai striker like Magomed Zaynukov and spending every single day in the gym defending takedowns from Islam Makhachev's team.
Fighting normal opponents in the cage must feel like a vacation after that. 🔥
Islam Makhachev explains how daily gym wrestling leveled up Magomed Zaynukov's elite striking
"Everybody wants to take him down"

Khamzat Chimaev had been away for more than a year after a serious battle with COVID.
At one point, he even talked about walking away from fighting.
His return came against Li Jingliang.
Chimaev looked like nothing had changed.
He shot immediately.
Picked Li up.
Carried him across the cage.
Put him down.
Then finished a rear-naked choke in Round 1.
Li did not land a significant strike.
After months of wondering whether Chimaev would even fight again, the hype came back in a single, absurdly dominant performance.

Imagine walking up to Justin Gaethje on a golf course to tell him you're a big Paddy Pimblett fan.
Without knowing Gaethje beat Paddy back in January. Worst small talk in golf history. 😭⛳
What's the most awkward thing you could say to a UFC fighter when you meet them? 👇
This guy told Justin Gaethje he's a Paddy Pimblett fan and didn't even know Paddy lost to Gaethje earlier this year 😭
"I fought him in January, I beat him up. I dog walked that motherf*cker."

If Sean O'Malley vs. Chito Vera 2 at UFC 299 put up massive numbers.
Imagine what five championship rounds of Petr Yan vs. Sean O'Malley 2 does after how razor-close their UFC 280 war was. 🔥
Who wins it?
Sean O'Malley is confident Petr Yan rematch will be the biggest bantamweight fight in UFC history
"I think me versus Chito number-wise was the biggest bantamweight fight of all time as of now, but I do think me versus Petr is going to be bigger... We're both in our prime, and it's just time."

Look at the love Ilia Topuria gets every time he touches down in Georgia.
Taking the time to greet all the young fans crowding around his car is pure class from the champ.
Should the UFC finally host an event in Georgia with Ilia Topuria headlining? 👇

Moicano says Tom Nolan is more dangerous than Brian Ortega.
Brian Ortega is the bigger name, but Moicano says "everybody can agree"
Tom Nolan is the more dangerous fighter.
He thinks beating the rising contender will do more for his resume than an Ortega win would.

Money Moicano on retirement, his contract and an "easy" Ilia Topuria fight.
At 37, Moicano says he won't be fighting at 40.
He might finish his contract and walk away unless the UFC offers "very good money."
Then he jokes that after Nolan he wants Ilia Topuria as an easy comeback fight.

Tom Nolan calls Renato Moicano one of his heroes, and Moicano basically answers:
"Thanks, but I'm still going to beat you up."
Then he adds.
"I don't want compliments, I want money."
Moicano is the most honest man in the UFC. 😂💰

Petr Yan spent 25 minutes stuffing Merab Dvalishvili's takedowns and forgot to turn his takedown defense off when his own corner tried to pick him up to celebrate. 😭

Death, taxes, and a new target season for Conor McGregor's UFC comeback.
Now Coach John Kavanagh is floating next summer. 😭
Be honest: do we ever see Conor McGregor fight inside the UFC Octagon again?
Yes or no? 👇
John Kavanagh refuses to rule out Conor McGregor comeback, envisions potential return next summer
"I've just seen him do too many things that seem to be impossible, and he does them repeatedly. So, if he says he does, I'm not going to doubt him... If anybody can, he can."

Josh Hokit shooting his shot at Madison Beer from the couch with the wildest camera angle on the internet is peak heavyweight energy. 😭
On a scale of 1 to 10, how are we rating Josh Hokit's game here? 👇

If you're getting ready to trade leather with a heavyweight puncher like Sergei Pavlovich.
Having a former UFC champion like Glover Teixeira testing your defense in sparring is exactly what you want. 🤝
Most retired coaches just hold mitts.
Glover Teixeira is still putting on the big gloves and trading rounds with Poatan. Legendary duo. 👏

Notice what Sean O'Malley is doing here:
Earlier on his podcast he said Song Yadong doesn't need to fight Merab Dvalishvili again.
Now on Bradley Martyn's show he's hyping up Song vs. Merab so he can get Petr Yan to himself.
Chess, not checkers from Suga. 😂♟️
Sean O'Malley says Petr Yan's short frame and low guard are why he stopped Merab's takedowns—and why Song Yadong can beat Merab too
"Petr's so little, his guard's just down here, so when Merab shoots, it's easy to defend... Song's the same size as those little fuckers, he could definitely win."

When Sean O'Malley held the belt, Petr Yan had to work his way back through contenders;
Now that Yan has the gold back, he's returning the favor and letting Suga do all the chasing.
Is Petr Yan avoiding the Sean O'Malley rematch, or is he just enjoying making Suga campaign for it? 👇
Sean O'Malley surprised Petr Yan isn't calling for their rematch
"I'm surprised Petr Yan doesn't really... ever since I beat him, I've never really heard Petr call for the rematch... I'm not saying Petr Yan's scared of me, but there might be a reason he's not pushing for that fight."

You can put DC in a suit at the commentary desk every Saturday, and the second he steps back onto a wrestling mat, that Olympic muscle memory takes right over. 🔥
Years into retirement and Daniel Cormier is still on the mat chain-wrestling with the younger generation.
Olympians never really turn that switch off.
