1. Les gens qui n'ont jamais fait de grec ancien pourraient être surpris d'apprendre que les classicistes lisent le grec d'une façon qui est tout sauf grecque.

Cambridge U appoints a flaming charlatan then denies what everyone can plainly see. This fiasco should accelerate universities' self-examination. An obvious failure point was a lack of viewpoint diversity, with no non-woke profs or admins to call out the delusion. The more serious one is threats of punishment of critics: anyone who point out the obvious is smeared as a racist, ableist, and abettor of suicide (in this case, also police visits & barracuda libel lawyers).
