It's #WoodlandWednesday! This month, our woodland team are out in our woodlands, conducting annual tree inspections. They’re monitoring the trees for disease and disorder, keeping an eye out for anything that could be a potential risk to visitors on our promoted routes. #BCAWoods

We are dismayed that someone has had a go at gauging the eyes out of our new sculpture, Martha in BCA Grinlow Wood.
We are very sad about this especially in the light of all the generous donations that ennobled us to get her made.
We would appreciate any information

#Thread Since it is officially baby bat season do check the image for the differences between baby, juvenile and adult bats.
Adult bats are still very small, with even the larger species being smaller than the palm of your hand (when resting)
