With all due respect, this episode was not your best and I’m sorry if this sounds harsh, it was terrible. I honestly don’t understand why you guys made any of the decisions you did in this episode. From the color scripting, the fight sequences, to who was present in the fight. You ruined all the potential by not having Aizen, Isshin & Ryuken there. This is non negotiable btw. They SHOULD HAVE been there. For Isshin & Ryuken, their wives were killed because of Yhwach. Not only that, but their sons are literally on the battlefield trying to save the universe and they can’t show up for either of these reasons? Not one last effort to rid the universe of Yhwach? As for Aizen, his ability directly works against Yhwach’s Almighty. He has more reason to be there than 99% of these other randoms here. Not only is he more powerful than almost everyone there, his worldview is opposed to Yhwach and thematically having these 2 titans of villainy fight against each other would have made for much better writing and spectacle. You could have had the perfect “Enemy of my enemy is my friend” theme going. All this fight consisted of was hard to see fighting with black goo monsters. This paled in comparison to Uryu vs Renji. That fight is sadly better than most of the manga fights in this whole adaptation. I just want to ask why? I can’t wait for the idiots to say I ‘harassed’ you when all I did was be respectful and offer criticism. No harsh language or threats. I just honestly don’t understand why you did what you did.
