They are both loans that didn't require repayment. The PPP only helped a narrow band of business owners but otherwise lined pockets of liars and the opportunistic. The College loan forgiveness program solves a problem for people who were victims of need based loans

Once more, with feeling: PPP Loans: Passed by Congress, signed into law by Donald Trump, and the purpose of them was to pay employees who would've been laid off due to the government forcibly shutting them down during covid. Biden's student debt forgiveness: Tried to unilaterally force taxpayers to pay off the debts of a select group of people without an act from Congress. The fact they think it's an own to point out Republicans in Congress took PPP loans so they wouldn't have to fire their employees during covid is completely ridiculous.
